wow... i feel like i missed out by doing band and not home econ!!!

haha home eco at my high school was a joke! we made french toast, sewed some sweat pants, and learned how to balance a check book.... wow possibly helpful if I didn't learn how to cook and sew by 3th grade, LOL. it also doesn't help that it was the mid 90's and teaching actual home eco was viewed as sexist, LOL

"sailor beware" that video was awesome.  I am learning how to sew, my mom never taught me even though she sews really well :( and we weren't offered home ec in my high school.  I was thinking about taking a sewing or dressmaking class, because I don't even know the basics of how to mess with the sewing machine, I can thread it, but i can't do adjustments on it very well.  For most modern women, sewing their own clothes isn't economical with the "fast fashion" that is in now, those clothes are super cheap.  but for pinup and retro fashion, it would be worth it to make yourself.  the ready made stuff is ridiculously expensive!  Nice video thanks for posting it

That video is awesome, thanks for sharing!
