Waist Training and Rago Shapewear

Hello Darlings~

First and foremost it feels soooo good to finally be composing my entries on a keyboard again!! Yes I broke down sooner than expected and purchased a  PC (rather than a Laptop or Notebook) and currently I using my Crosley TV as my Monitor (via a VGA cable). I'm really liking the concept of using my Retro inspired TV as a Monitor and may just keep it this way for the time being.…

The Magical Mystery of Monica...How Monica helped change my life.

I know, I know every PUGster raves about the Monica dress. But I thought I'd share the mystery of this dress and it's impact in my life to add to the inspiration.

Four years ago I had a bad fall, injured my hip, gained weight through long recovery, and became depressed to the point of not even wanting to get out of my pyjama's. I was lost in a funky fog and didn't recognize myself in the mirror anymore. Any sense of identity was blurred away with the growing 70+ pound layers of…

Move That Body (yoga & Abs)

Hello Lovelies,

I started a little group on facebook after a few of my friends asked me to share with them how I lost all my weight.  My depression got the best of me and I got pretty voluptuous some may say the more the better, but I felt miserable in my own body. So I finally decided to do something about it and I got up off my butt and moved my body.  I started to make better food choices and made water my best friend, worked out at least 20 minutes every day and started…

Hello everyone, my apologies if I bounce all over the place... this is my first attempt at a blog.... So here we go....I stumbled upon...P.U.G....   a few years ago while looking for vintage clothes and makeup online.... and I even made me a page here on PUG style... and I had my wishlist of things I wanted... Tahitia & the On the Dot Cardigan in Navy

Hi guys, it's me Tahita and no I haven't had one of these blogs in a little bit now, many apologies for that :)

Allow me to make up for that with my review of one of my favourite additions to my pinup wardrobe this winter, the On the Dot Cardigan in Navy!

Now like a great many of you I live in a climate where you have to deal with a heck of a lot of snow and a heck of a lot of cold. The fact that it recently snowed for twenty-four hours straight did a wonderful…

Five Retro-Style Bikinis to Wear in 2015

Fashion time capsule takes us this summer to the golden era of bikini, to the past time when women had fewer props to emphasize their attributes and conceal their shortcomings. They had been doing it masterfully nevertheless. To capture the vintage vibe present in the current designs, you’d have to know what to look in general to be spot-on.

Expert Tips

Here are some guidelines to follow when you’re out to pick the perfect old-times bikini:

1. Cute…

Household Vintage ft. Crosley Radio

Happy 2015 my Dah-lings!!

For me this year has begun with a few significant changes, but overall it still feels the same. Big New  Ho-rah #1, I finally moved!!!! after months of pondering on it! So now I  definitely have the additional space i need(ed) to make a mini-studio in my apartment.

The move itself wasn't hectic, but (as a girl) coming up with that perfect theme/color scheme that still matches my Vintage lifestyle has been a new and interesting…

PUG Across Indiana, 2014

I know it’s been a while. Trust me, if I hadn’t decided to declare a two week vacation for myself, I would probably be working on something for work right now. I really needed a break! This past week, my first week of my two week vacation, I have been staring blankly at my walls, which is something I’ve been waiting to do for so long; Oooh! I read a book! I have been making some clothes. I even went to the movies; which is something I never, seriously never, do! I have pretty much caught up…

My PUG Reviews for December 2014 ;)

Hey everyone! :) Happy New Year! It's been a long time since I've done a Pinup Girl Style blog, so I thought I'd share some reviews of the PUG items I've acquired over the past month. I wouldn't normally have THIS many things to review all at once, especially from one month. BUT, December turned out to be pretty good to me... for many reasons.

That Time Tahitia Met Santa with Her Friend Lana

Hi guys, it's me Tahitia and I apologize for not having posted a review here on Pinup Girl Style in quite some time now, sorry! Believe me when I say that I'm still a PUG Superfan through and through, and so I'd like to make up for my absence here by sharing with you a very special review. The Lana Dress which I wore that time I met Santa. You can read the same review on my blog in it's entirety, but I wanted to share it here as well since this was the home of my very first regular blog AND…

How do I get myself out there?

Trying to find time to go to any event is difficult, but if it benefits me in the long-run I'd rather do this now than later.

I love being a mother, I love working at this current job because I love the money that helps me to make sure my daughter has things.

But of course I want to pursue my real dream of modelling. It has been so strenuous trying to find the time and places or even take the steps to help at least take the first step in the right direction.

So my question…

The Fall and Winter Wardrobe Guide for Pinup, Retro and Vintage Mavens

I've seen a lot of posts on here about doing pinup in the winter, so I've decided to put together a comprehensive guide. I'll be staring, of course, with the undergarments and topping it off with accessories.  I've posted this here first but it will go live on my personal blog Friday.  Enjoy and let me know what you think or what else you'd add into this crazy list.

Need a Pin-up Girl Name

Hi, I've been searching for a name for over a year. I found this site today, and decided to give it a try.

I want my name to be sweet, but I'd rather it be something that other famous pin-up girls don't have. So no Marilyn or Bettie.

I found this one pin-up girl named Bettie Banshee and I LOVE that name! I'm definitely not using it since it's someone else's though.

I want something cool and kind of dark, but not like totally gory and gothic, if you know what…
