"Dress your body type" PUG styles cater to all, Long-waisted AND apple-shaped? read more....

I am 5'5 and long waisted, which means I am fairly tall but my legs are short! I remember a shopping experience where I grabbed 20 items, tried them on and I walked out with nothing. The jeans that fit my waist were too long and too wide at the bottom. The tops were so wide and not long enough for me. This was a re-occurring experience everywhere I went. so what is a viable solution??? DRESSES! SKIRTS! HIGH-WAISTED PANTS!

However , if it was not for my interest in pin-up i would have never found pinupgirlclothing.com. It is probably a reason why many women out there have not discovered this miracle. A miracle that caters to women of ALL shapes and sizes. Pear-shaped? apple-shaped? no problem!

Alot of research takes place before I purchase from pug, I look at the plus size models measurements because too many people inaccurately look at someone and think they are the same size. Measurements are everything, you need a measuring tape before any ordering!!

I look at what the clothes are made out of , to determine any stretch. I look at the fan photographs on facebook to determine which dresses will look good on someone like me and by that i mean overweight unlike the models on the site. Too many people wear clothing that looks good on others but not on themselves. You have to dress your body type. How do you know if you are long-waisted? simply measure from the top of your head to your natural waist, then measure from your waist to the floor, if your top half is longer than the bottom half then you are long-waisted and vice versa.

Waist to hip ratio determines if you are apple shaped or pear shaped, if your waist measurements exceed your hips then you are apple, and if your hip measurements exceed your bust and waist then you are pear shaped. If  you are blessed with an hour-glass figure, that is great too.Furthermore, PUG clothing will give you an hourglass if you don't already have one and will accentuate the hourglass shape you already have.

So how does pug flatter your shape? key words "KNEE-LENGTH" ,"SCULPTED BUST", "FITTED WAIST" "LINED(corset effect)" everything is structured ,made well and with quality material. There is a reason why I do not go anywhere else for dresses and pin-up style clothing. It does not compete with pug clothing. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for!

Any of the Vamp dresses or Tops are a must have staple for any wardrobe. I Had a really hard time picking out a skirt for my first vamp top but I opted for a black skirt, then between the black label, pinup couture, or Dixiefried. Due to price range i narrowed it down between pinup couture and Dixiefried, since i haven't owned bengaline before and was a huge fan of anything Dixiefried, I purchased the Dixiefried black pencil skirt in size 2x to go with my Vamp top in Peach Size 2x. I loved the combo I did have to wear shapewear underneath the dixiefried pencil skirt but i usually wear shapewear underneath any pug clothing anyways. With the shapewear, I was able to achieve an hour-glass shape. I also wore the vamp top with jeans , it was long enough for me but just to be on the safe side I always wear a lace cami underneath the vamp top and it looks fabulous.

The Natasha in black cherry was my second purchase, this dress is also available in "swing" style called Heidi , In my opinion the swing dresses are for fun and comfort but they are not  really "sexy" to me,which is why i went for the Natasha instead.I also think that "swing" dresses are perfect for short-waisted women because of its natural waist line that stops down below the bust.I think "swing" dresses also are more designed to "hide" your flaws but not accentuate them, which is why i don't find swing dresses sexy. The belt is super nice, you do not have to worry about the belts not fitting like most clothing from department stores. The belt adjusts easy and does not slip easily, I also felt i could have ordered down but none the less, it does form to my body quite nicely.

Of all my dresses if i had to pick which one i received the most compliments on would be the Troublemaker in Red Gingham, It draws all attention to the bust and up, that i really don't think anyone noticed my tummy. There is no stretch in this dress, if you are between measurements, order up.

My favorite dress is the Dixiefried "Glamour Girl" in bleeding rose print, it is very stretchy. The only drawback is that the straps are not adjustable but can be easily fixed or taken in. On the website, it appears like the dress is a light pink but really it is white with black and red design. I ordered it in 2x and I love that it really truly hugs me in all the right places

You look wonderful in all these dresses.  Thanks for the tip on the bleeding rose - I did not realize it was stretchy and thought it was pink.
