So I bought this pattern a while back, and finally decided to try it out. I was amazed with how perfectly it fits! I haven't sewn in a while, so my craftsmanship isn't perfect, but I'm happy with it. The pattern is pretty simple, and I would definitely recommend it. I plan on making some fall/winter dresses with it soon. :D

Sorry for the lame phone pics. Haha.

Thanks! :]

I love the fabric you chose!

Thanks!

Love this!! I can't tell if you did the ruching - did you and how difficult was it to do? I am putting a machine on layaway, so I'm collecting patterns I want to try now... this looks fabulous! Love the variations and the style itself is right up my alley, but I'm way rusty on my sewing skills, and they weren't super advanced to begin with. If you would please share how difficult you found this, along with what was difficult about it, I would appreciate it!!

I did do the version with the pleats, but it would definitely look better with a stiffer or thicker fabric. It wasn't difficult at all. The only thing I would suggest is to take time making sure you line the pleats up correctly.
The only part I really had trouble with was lining up the collar, and placing the button correctly, but even that wasn't too difficult. Also, the measurements for the sizing didn't really match up with my measurements, so I just went with my usual dress size, instead of the one suggested on the back.

Spectacular!! You look amazing! Love the print and the shape!

Thanks so much! :]

I think I need this pattern! I like the one with the longer sleeves. Add this to my never ending list of dresses I someday intend to make!

It's a great pattern! I'm wanting to try the one with sleeves next. :]

Thats really cute girl :)

Thanks!

Great Job Love!

I really need to get back into sewing!
