So, I hope this thread is okay. Basically I just thought it would be a good idea to get a thread started where PUGers can ask questions about fit and styles of PUG clothes and other items the way we usually do on the Facebook fan page. Hopefully this will be helpful for shoppers looking for advice before they order.

And... I'll start! I posted this on Facebook, too, but I'm not sure where more people are at right now since this site launched... I want to get a nice skirt (non-pencil) that I can wear with a variety of tops and can be dressed up or down. So I'm looking at the black Doris skirt and black Audrey skirt. I'm leaning more toward the Doris, but anyone have thoughts? It's difficult when you can't see them in person.

I have the Doris and it's such a wardrobe staple for me. I wear it in summer with tops and with cardigans in the winter. I don't have the Audrey but do fee the Doris has slightly more versatility as you can switch the colour of the belt depending on the top you are wearing it with. The Audrey is cute with the sash, but you are stuck with it. X

That's a good point about the Audrey sash. I wasn't sure about whether it was changeable or not. I'm glad you mentioned the Doris is good for summer and winter wear. I definitely would like to be able to wear the skirt year-round. Thanks! I'm pretty sold on Doris now.

I just need a good discount code now for the Doris skirt and a few other things! The online garage sale has some nice things on sale, but not most of the things I'm waiting to buy unfortunately. :(

Gia top- PUG says that it is stretchy, so if you're in between sizes, you may want to size down. However, I don't want the shirt to be clingy on me. Should I just stick with the size that suits my larger measurement if I want to avoid a clingy/skin-tight fit? I'm not sure how the top runs, and I'm really in between.

lol- nobody asks questions but me...

When I received mine, I though it was a bit too big and that I should have sized down. But after the first machine wash, it shrinked a lil' bit to the perfect size.
So I think that if you plan on putting it in the washing machine, then you should probably not size down. If you take better care of your clothing than I do, however, and wash it by hand, it may not shrink. I don't really know how it will behave, maybe someone else can chip in?

BTW, I absolutely love this top! It can be dressed up with a pencil skirt, or down with a pair of jeans and it always looks amazing. Got tons of compliments on my burgundy one, so I got the one in teal. Planning on getting the black and maybe the red too once my size is restocked :D

I ended up getting my normal size, but if I find it big I could always wash and dry it like you said. I'll have to see once it arrives. It looks very versatile, which is why I got it. I need more neutral separates in my wardrobe to mix with my wilder pieces. I got the white one (on sale now). I realized I have so many crazy, loud clothes, and I can't wear them as much as I'd like because I never buy plainer pieces to mix with them. I'm always drawn to the loudest pattern/color available. lol

I find the Gia has crazy stretch.  Probably could go down two sizes and still fit me.

I have mine now, and I would say it's a little big, but if I had sized down it might have been too tight. I think I'll give it a spin through the wash and dry it on delicate to see it that just shrinks it a little bit. I really just want it to be more fitted in the waist. I always have the issue of being between sizes because my measurements are really different from one another. Overall I like it, though. The top still has a nice shape, and I can wear it with a lot of things.

I have a question in regards to the pinup couture shoes. I wear a 7 1/2, and I noticed that the shoes come in whole sizes. I was wondering if they were like iorn fist shoes, they tend to run big thus I can wear a 7, or if they're true to fit and just must admire them from a far.

Anyone have the Marlene or Burana? Which one did you prefer? Also, need help with sizing! According to the size chart I'm a solid small (34-26-36). But it's recommended to size up for a looser fit. I'm worried that if I sized up it'll be too big but I don't want it to be super clingy. Would I be using any of the stretch if I got my usual small?

I have the Marlene and LOVE it. My measurements are 35-27-38 and the small fits me like a glove. I find it comfy and it's still work appropriate, but only because the material is nice and thick. A medium might have given me a bit more wiggle room, but I was happy enough with the small not to do an exchange.
