Sizing help - Deadly Dames Film Noir Dress in black velvet.

Hey all!

So according to the sizing chart,  I'm a medium. I wonder if I should go with the sizing chart or order down. I've seen pictures of many people wearing this dress, and when the dress looks tighter, it looks nicer to me. I'm worried that a medium would be too loose on the upper side and that a small would be too tight around the belly and butt, lol.

I have this in green. According to the size chart, I should be a solid small 34-26-36. (The size chart for small says 34-38,25-29,34-38). While I could have sized down because I'm at the smaller end of this chart, I stuck with my normal size. It's still fitting around the bum, no worries ;) The only place where it is loose is the bust because I'm only a 34B and I expected this from the size chart. However, the cowl neck easily hides that and I can wear a VS Bombshell bra to make up for it if I choose (I can still wear a less padded bra because of the cowl neck). I'd go with your usual size - you don't want it to be too tight and then worry about transparency of the fabric which is why the product description says to wear like colored undergarments.
