Hello lovelies! Now that the group has grown a bit, I think it may be a good time to introduce ourselves to one another. What part of Los Angeles do you live in? What are you into? What is your favorite PUG item? Etc., etc., etc...

Some things about me; I love all things PUG, I live in the Pasadena area, I have two cats, a man, I am a horror movie fanatic, I am really into craft beer and anything Tiki. I don't have many girlfriends to hang out with but I am always up for drinks and of course shopping. Eventually, I would love to host a meetup for all of us to get acquainted in person. I am really looking forward to this group and I hope you are too. :)

Hi!!  I live in West LA and am finally breaking out of my shell and exploring my vintage side.  I, as well, don't have many girlfriends especially ones into pinup/vintage so I tend to roll solo to any events or shopping excursions.  Can't wait to have a meetup with all the locals!

Hi Cynthia! Nice to meet you, thank you for joining the group.  I tend to roll solo to many of the PUG events or just to shop. While the boyfriend doesn't mind going with me, I feel that he would rather be at home. I wonder if most of the ladies here roll solo like we do?

I can't wait for a meetup, once we have more members, I will plan one.

It's nice to see that there are more of us ladies out there without girlfriends, I thought I was the only one. The boyfriend is fine with taking me to do some shopping but ultimately it is not his thing. Poor guy he needs an award for putting up with my shopping habits, he has been to many PUG garage sales and seen me in action battling for a Lux de Ville bag at half off. ;)

Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself, Auburn.

Hi everyone!  I live in Toluca Lake area,I also have 2 cats, both hairless.  I love anything from PUG,and can't wait for the opening!  I"m a hairdresser at Estetica Salon in Woodland Hills, and on Friday nights I cashier the door at a club in LA (Das Bunker).  Can't wait to meet everyone!

Hi Alisa! Nice to meet you, thank you for joining the group. :)

I've always wanted to hit up Das Bunker. I work with a couple of folks that love to go there from time to time. Living in Toluca Lake means you are not far from the PUG Boutique. YAY!

Hi Christina!  If you do decide to go to Das Bunker please introduce your self to me I'd love to meet you in person!

I live in the Valley.
I go to school part time but that will change soon. I'm want to be an R.N :)
I just started dabbling in making my own clothes or upcycling them.
I have absolutely no make up or hairstyling skills so I tend to go "natural" everywhere.
My favorite PUG item(s) are the High waisted shorts. I can dress them up or down quite easily.
I live about 20 mins away from the boutique and my husbands credit card will be taking some serious damage soon.hehe.

I'm Kammi! I live in San Diego currently and am looking to move to North Hollywood/Los Feliz or possibly a couple different areas by early-mid next year. I spend a lot of time in LA currently though. It's where my heart is.

I'm married and have a daughter. We're orginally from Oregon. I'm currently in cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell San Diego and hope to have a job in a salon before I graduate in April of next year. I absolutely love hair and makeup. It's not even just my job, it's my lifestyle. I've always been big on vintage/retro and rockabilly which I think ended up really stemming from my roots as a kid in the biker and punk rock scene. It just naturally blossomed. I've been in love with PUG and all of the other brands for years now. I believe I discovered PUG at 15 and I'm now 22. I've always been such a big fan of Micheline and Doris and was very lucky enough to meet them and Laura and a few other girls at the Advanced class recently. They are really just as nice as they seem!

I don't have many pinup friends as most that I've met out here in SD just don't click with me but I hope to make some great friends through the site and in LA!

Hi Kammi. Welcome and thank you for joining the group. :)

I was raised in San Diego and moved to LA about 8 years ago. I am hoping to move to the Seattle area sometime next year, I fell in love with Seattle but adore Portland. What part of SD are you in? I lived in the North County areas as a kid but then moved to the OB area. I love SD so much, I still have my family there and go back for concerts, Comic Con, and other events.

I hope you find this group helpful for things to do while in LA.

We're in military housing in National City. We've been here since January of last year....I don't mind SD but I really prefer LA. haha.

Seattle is gorgeous and I've always like the idea of living up there but I think we'll end up buying a house in Portland and settling down after a few years in LA while I gain experience.

Hiya! I live in Burbank.(And I love it!) I've alway loved vintage clothing and vintage style. It's been in the last 2.5 years that I have purchased vintage inspired clothing and done the vintage look. I don't rock it every day but every time I've gone out in my PUG dresses I get lots of looks and compliments. I am a free lance photographer specializing in geekery, vintage/retro and urban landscape. I try to go to Bob's Big Boy at least once month for the car show on Fridays. I can't wait to meet more ladies that are interested in retro/retro inspired looks! Squee!! :)

Hi, I live in the Rampart area of LA and am really looking forward to meeting up with you ladies at local events or anything really.  I have friends that like the retro scene but aren't really into it, so it's usually just me and my sister-in-law that make it out to any events whenever we can.  It would be nice to meet some of you though, seeing as my sister-in-law will be studying at UCR this fall and won't be around as much. I enjoy window shopping, going to the movies, and just went to my first Comic Con this year! As far as PUG items go, I don't have much of a collection yet, but love all of their stuff!!!
