I will say this, I can do an 8 if I'm REALLY having a thin day. I have a Trashy Diva mini skirt in a size 14 that fits like a glove. I typically wear an 8 just because I think they hug my curves better, but the 8's are not my natural size. It takes a ton of wiggling to get into them. In PUG I always wear a size L. So, if you think you can fit into a dress that has a max waist of a 29'', it would probably work. My waist is between a 28-30 (30 after my trip to Rome 0.o) and I was soooo close to making it fit. :D

Hi Alice! Awesome! I'm going to cry when I ship it, but I just can't fit into it. I was thinking about ripping out the zipper completely and sewing in a strip of black silk, but I just feel like I'm tearing up a perfectly good dress for no reason other than that I want to will it to fit.. Even though it clearly doesn't! :(
