Emmy Design curvy flare pants, L: $ 30,-

NWT. Black cotton flare pants from the Swedish brand Emmy Design. Flattering rushing at the front, side-zipper, no pockets. Bought these during their grand sale, original price $ 120,-. Unfortunately uncomfortably tight on my thighs, and they probably look better on someone a little shorter (I'm 5,10"). Measurements max: waist 29.5", hips 41"

Deadly Dames Rock & Roll Babydoll dress in tattoo print, size L: $ 40,-

Previously loved (by me). Good condition. I no longer wear it so figured maybe someone else would be happy with it :)

Marlene dress in silver lurex (size L): $ 55

New with tags, only tried on.

Heidi dress in red including belt (size M): $ 65

Worn twice, very good condition. On the seam in the armpit there is little bit of black color transfer, from the bolero I've worn with it. Not noticable when worn.

Haunted Housewife dress including belt (size M): $ 55

Excellent condition. Bought it on the facebook page, worn twice by me. Too tight on the upper arms unfortunately!

Sadie dress purple floral border print NWT (M): $ 70

New with tags. Only tried on, do not like how it fits me.

Dixiefried Paris dress in black (M runs as L!): $ 55

Includes belt. Very stretchy, runs as an L and roomy in the bust/tummy area! Worn twice for a couple of hours.

PUG Sandra dress in black (L): $ 55

Worn twice for a couple of hours. Excellent condition.

Bettie Page Secretary Circle dress in green (M): $ 70

Including belt. Worn twice, excellent condition. The green secretary circle runs larger than the black one.

Stop Staring Starlight dress NWT (L): $ 55

New, never worn. Absolutely stunning dress but do not like how it suits me. Color more like in second picture below.

Pretty Dress Company (a.k.a So Couture) Chelsea Aubergine Pencil (UK size 12): $ 50

Worn once, excellent condition. The back slit is shortened a bit by a professional, because it was too revealing on me (I’m 5” 10). Probably easy fix if you know how. Bengaline material, fits me (37.5-29.5-41) perfectly, but I don’t like the peplum on me.

Pretty Dress Company (a.k.a So Couture) Hourglass dress (UK size 12): $ 45

Limited Edition Vintage Floral. Only tried on by me in the house. The back slit is shortened a bit by a professional, because it was too revealing on me (I’m 5” 10). Probably easy fix if you know how. From non-stretch cotton, fits me (37.5-29.5-41) quite tight.

Print up close:

Doris top red (L): $ 25

Worn 3 or 4 times. Excellent condition.

Evelyn swing dress in yellow and black floral (M): $ 50

Including bolero, is old version when Pinup Couture was Pin Up Girl. Bought it on ebay, was used for a photo shoot. Has very light foundation marks (see picture). Never worn by me because it is too tight.

Natalie Dress in Nautical Blue with White Trim by Pinup Couture (L): $ 30

The blue bled a bit in the white trim, unfortunately I can’t capture it on photo because on the picture the trim looks white (while it is slightly light blue at some parts). Also, it doesn’t fit me right, the black slit is too high for me. I heard the bleeding can be fixed, so I figured maybe I can make somebody else happy with this dress!.

NWT Bettie Page Clothing Joy dress size L: $ 45

Only tried on, overall too big for me (37.5-29.5-41). I think it runs like a PUG XL wiggle style.

Hell Bunny Halter neck Black/White Gingham (L): $ 30

Lightly worn, excellent condition. No stretch, fits as an PUG M (measurements max: bust 38 waist 32).

Hi there! Definitely interested in te L’Amour dress in Victorian Rose (I have the skirt, the pattern is just gorgeous). I'm more open to trading than buying at the moment... I have the Ginger dress in the red bandanna print (Medium) that I'm willing to part with!

Hi Amy! I'm certainly open for trades, but halter necks are just not for me unfortunately. Because I have quite some dresses I don't wear at the moment (see the above list haha), I try to stick to dresses I know I will wear regularly. In my case that would be for example the Collette in pindot or green, the Joanie or the Lana in melting leopard. But if you have other dresses you’d like to trade I’ll certainly consider it!

Totally understand! I wish all styles worked for me, all PUG clothes are so gorgeous. I'm still considering just ponying up the cash for it! Can you describe the fit for me? The website was apparently revamped and none of the reviews are back up yet.

Ah yes the new website is beautiful but totally confusing, and I can’t lust over the ‘coming soon’ section anymore!

I bought the L’amour on this website, and although it is sold out there, they still have the size chart up: http://topvintage.nl/en/vintage-retro/lamour-dress-in-victorian-ros...

I would say this size chart is pretty accurate, I’m 37.5-29.5-41 and the bust fits just right, there is still room for a little belly and it is tight on the hips on me. As you probably know from the deadly curves skirt, the material has some give, but holds its shape beautifully! The top hardly has any give, so the bigger the bust, the more it will look like Gaia on the picture (I have just a little bit cleavage in this dress ;-) ) I would say the waist measurements are firm, but below the smallest part of the waist, there is room for a belly (that’s Micheline’s miracle design, she knows that women can have both a small waist and a belly!) I hope this was a helpful description :)

Thank you, that was super helpful! I'm about the same (38-29-39). I do have the Juvenile Delinquent dress, complete with a belt and the skull brooch, in Medium, that I'd be willing to part with. I also have a purple Marlene in Medium, but I think that might be a tad tight (it is on me; I bought it a few pounds and inches ago, when I was 38-28-38)!

I may be interested in purchasing your HH, if mine sells...

I was wondering if you think the Marlene is too showy for everyday wear? I have never seen anyone but a model wear it, so it's hard to tell how it looks in person. Lurex sweaters and such are in vogue, so I was wondering if I could get away with wearing it to class, to the shops, etc, but I have too many "night out only" dresses already.

Hmmm that’s a good question, and quite difficult to tell. First of all, I think the Marlene is definitely too showy for a conservative environment. I had the same doubts, and I felt I would not get away with it for everyday wear, so that’s why I’m selling it. On the other hand, the color has a steel gray undertone and is not completely ‘silver’, if that makes any sense. So with the right attitude (and maybe toned down a bit with a cardigan ;-) ) I think it could make a very comfortable statement piece. The silver lurex will draw attention but it doesn’t say ‘cocktail party’ or ‘prom’ or anything like that. I think the photo with the red-headed model gives a good impression of the color. Hope this was a bit helpful :)
