Greetings Gorgeous Gals!

First off, welcome to all of our new members. This group is really starting to grow, how exciting is that? Most of the members seem to be located in and around the Los Angeles area, which means we must meet up.

Once the group reaches 100+ members, I would love to finally set up a meet up event.I would love to include a day of shopping at PUG then heading over to a nearby spot for drinks and food. Does this sound like something you ladies would be interested in? Do you have other meet up ideas?
If so, please voice your opinions.

Personally, I am up for anything. I love to shop, eat, mingle, and sip on delicious drinks. :)

Agueda, that is some perseverence, my lady! :) Glad it paid off. I really like all you got there. Especially the tiger top, needless to say.

Facebook comments were majorly about how unorganized the sale was especially if this madness has been knwon from the past years.

I seriusly like to filter by my size and search allover the internet. Had good transactions here in this site from international and domestic ladies. I don't mind slightly used and fo the rest, I wait for the sale email :)))

So for a meetup, what would your preference be? A nice cafe (which I'd really like for the first time at least), shopping, a bar, yoga class (odd huh? but a possibility, why not), Flirty Girl workout class (wink wink, do I have ideas), dinner ????

Also what is the best district for everyone? Downtown LA, Santa Monica, Burbank, Glendale, etc. Everywhere is same for me. I was in Downtonwn LA yesterday, then went for a festival+swap meet in Granada Hills, then went to Claremont for restaurant dancing (belly dance) and then went back home (Bakersfield :P ).

Thank you Agueda for my blue Doris top!! It was pretty crazy but we stuck it out!

My friend and I arrived at around 10:40.  I've been to 2 yard sales before and it seems to have gotten a little more chaotic each time due to the larger crowd that shows up now.  The PUG volunteers did their best to stay on top of everything (they had more volunteers than last year) but the crowd was really big and not everyone was in a very pleasant mood.  It annoyed me to see the organized group of pushy women hoarding tons of clothes (maybe they were the same group that annoyed me the last time?) and PUG staff did their best to get them out of the way.  They even told them that they had a certain amount of time to buy the goodies they had piled up or the goods would be returned to the racks, haha.  At first PUG made everyone line up based on size while they restocked.  Unfortunately it became a free for all after they began to say that people could shop again.  I stayed back while people went into crazy mode.  Apparently some people don't care about behaving with no class.  After that wave of craziness PUG made people line up again and only let 3 people at each rack at a time and they could only choose 4 items each.  This was more organized, more efficient, and more fair for everyone.  In the end I avoided the crazies by shopping at the go back rack (where people put the stuff that didn't fit, etc. after trying on in the dressing room) and I found some really cute items! I got the Je T'Adore dress in Victorian Rose print (SCORE!!!), the Rita dress in black and white polka dots, a black Mad Men style dress that had a busted zipper (see what happens when people get crazy?!) but will look amazing after my friend fixes it (she has it so I don't have a picture of it yet, but it's awesome), and a pair of black high waisted shorts for my little sis-in-law for a grand total of....$150!!!. So even in the midst of chaos, you can find a way to get something nice while still being a lady, haha. Oh and my friend got a red Colette dress, a Hello Sailor swimsuit, 2 Doris tops, and a cute jacket for $150 as well. =] So where and when are we all meeting up since we didn't find each other on Saturday?

What bothers me is that from what you all are describing sounds like people are buying to resell... That really is annoying...

I am sure people will be trying to resell the items they purchased so be cautious.  I hope we can pinpoint a day/time to all meet! I live in West LA so am open to meeting up in any area. I generally have weekends off but can do something in the evenings as well.

Ya, it was really obvious too. Last year this group of women kept pushing us skinny gals out of the way while they took things that obviously would not fit them ,=( Not sure if it was the same group but it looked like it. They had tons of stuff piled up, clothes, boxes of shoes, and they kept texting who knows who while they made their pile larger n larger and some of us hadn't even found something yet. Natasha from PUG had to be real upfront with them because they weren't budging when first told to move out of that corner. PUG staff did a hell of a job trying to keep everything under control.  I wanted a picture with some of them but decided not to ask 0_0 They had enough on their plate, haha.

Oh, and why don't we meet up at the PUG store to say hello, check out the little shops on the same street, and eat at Porto's next door? It's reasonably priced and they have smoothies =) We can make a Saturday afternoon out of it.

I like that meeup idea Natalie. When I went to the store for the first time, it was so quiet. We gotta bring some noise in there!

Very true! I went by myself and kinda looked around but left quickly because it was so quiet, haha!

What about meeting up at another Ladies Night out? I will be out of town for the next Ladies Night out in October, but, I can do the one in Nov. I can get some name tags and we can have a general meet up point. Thoughts? Other ideas?

That would be cool! I'm down for both. I want to make it to the October one because I want to take pictures with everyone in their costumes =)

Wait, what is "Ladies Night Out"? Sounds like an ongoing event?????????????

I'd love to go out with girls!!!!! Awwww, I havent gone out, well, other than for belly dancing events, forever!!!!!

I am totally down! The Nov. Ladies Night is on Friday Nov. 30th. I would love to hit up the Tiki No as well!
