Yes yes and yes! Maybe we could find some local rockabilly band that's playing a show, Big Sandy and His Fly-Rite Boys are a favorite of mine and I think are local :)

I am taking the day off work to hit the sale, so I'll definitely be there!!, Reddish orange hair that blends into a darker brown/black... Just yell out hey Jenn and I'll answer (if I can hear over the din of ladies - sounds like it's going to be a busy * fun event!).

I'll be 36 in January and FINALLY coming into my own as a woman. There's no prerequisite here... just mutual love, admiration and fashion. Oh, and drinks... yep, drinks definitely help! I think we all have been an outcast at some point in our lives, so we've all been there, and no one I've met here would do unto another that's been done unto them. I don't know if any of you are into the Blasters, but in doing a bit of homework to plan my weekend I see that they are playing at the Lobster Fest in San Pedro this Sunday. Phil Alvin was recently quite ill. So I sure hope that they are still playing.

Done! There is a full bar going on at the sale... if you can make it, maybe we can chat and drink while showing off our lucky finds!

My only issue with anything is transportation... I'm a minimum wage worker (with 2 MBAs, but don't get me started on that) so I am traveling by bus/train/flinstone (aka feet). As long as it's close by, and I can get back home to the SGV at some point, I'm down for pretty much anything, lol. Especially since I'm trying to get back into getting out and about and start dating again at some point.

So, still some of you are going to the yard sale?

I heard that there'll be a line and by the time you get in, most PUG stuff is gone etc, etc...

Not liking this :(

I am not a line-waiter, sooooo after all I may not make it, or if I drive by and see a big line, I am out  :(

Oh God,

You told me the two thing sI was afraid of hearing:

1) Aggressively bitchy behavior - being pushed against stuff and tug-o-war

2) Finding super good deals - $5 for a regularly $120 dress

And you'll be there all day because I gather they keep restocking the racks???

The problem is I don't have all day.... now I am torn...

What time will you show up? For me to show up there at 9 am, I have to leave home 7 am sharp. Meaning getting up at least at 6 am on Saturday....
