Last week I got my tax refund and so immediately put it towards a Pinup Girl Clothing order. It had been AGES since my last big haul so it was rather thrilling!

Here is my honest reviews of my purchases :-)

The Doris Skirt in Blue Floral

The Doris in Black has been a wardrobe staple of mine since I got it in my first ever PUG order. It is such a nice simple style and I LOVE having belt loops- it's the little things that count, right?!

I had been eyeing up the Floral Doris' since they came out earlier in the year and now we are heading into Summer (I'm in New Zealand) I decided it was time to get my greedy hands on one. There is no surprises- it fits perfectly, the fabric is wonderful quality and the print is gorgeous.

The Netti in Anchor Print

My first Netti and a new favourite. The print is soooo cute and I love the red accents of the belt and the trim along the white band. I'll admit that I was very worried about the straps being too long and drooping when I first put it on. But of course PUG made it with adjustable straps... I should have never doubted your genius Pinup Girl Clothing. I will say it again- it's the little things that count!

The Audrey Skirt in Navy (the long version)

Another first for me. I wanted a new plain skirt to go with all my tops and cardigans. I have been toying with getting the Audrey for months but had a few reservations on the fit. I was worried that the pleats would not sit well on my volumptious derriere and I was worried about not being able to cinch the waist in with a belt.

The pleats sit pretty well so no complaints there. However the waist is quite big on me :-(. This is a size medium (28.5"-29"). My waist is 28"-28.5" so it definitely falls into the medium size over the small (26.5"-27"). This situation is when I miss the abilty to put a belt on to cinch it in. However I think it is worth paying to get it taken in :-)

The PUG Bolero in White

As a hairdresser, I am conscious of maintaining a degree of modesty at work, especially in the chest/arms/shoulders area. The bolero is perfect for covering up and looks super cute too.

The size chart kinda confused me so I took a risk and went with my usual size medium. It fits well but I probably could have sized down for a more snug fit. Once again the quality is PUG-tastic ;-)

The Evelyn in Yellow and Black Floral

Such beauty! I have the Evelyn in Emerald Green and love the style! The pleated bodice and little bow makes my heart flutter. This fits perfectly and the stretchy material is really comfortable- I wore it all day to work today.

I really think that there should be many many more Evelyns in many many more colours and patterns (hint, hint Team PUG)

The Audrey in Floral

Such a pretty print! The colours are so vibrant! This version of the Audrey is not as big on me as the Navy although it could be a little tighter to make me 100% happy. The shorter length is nice for a change and makes me look forward to Summer!
