I fell in love with the Jeanie Lurex tops the moment I first saw them. Unfortunatley they were sold out for what felt like a lifetime until finally being restocked for one last time a few months ago. As soon as I got the email notification that they were back in stock, I snapped up the cream, pink and baby blue. The peice of my heart reserved for the Jeanie's finally at peace.

The reason the Jeanie so appealed to me was my want for tops for winter that not only looked good, but keeps me warn as well. In the colder months, I get sick of covering up pretty dresses and tops with plain old cardigans so I am always on the lookout for great looking peices of clothing that are also warm.

The Jeanie's are fully lined and nice and toasty. Since they had a lot of stretch, I sized down to a size small in all 3 colours. They fit....but only just! The arms are pretty tight and the bottom panel is very snug too. I actually pulled a neck muscle trying to get one over my head without ruining my hair! But I like my tops to be fitted in the bust and waist and the small does just that :-)

The neckline gives a nice hint of the bosoms without being too revealing for more conservative workplaces and the mini collar is just so cute.

These tops are my go-to for when I am in a rush to get to work- I know they look good and are easily paired with either my Doris skirt or my various swing skirts I have made.

The pink goes really well with the Victorian Rose Deadly Curves Skirt and makes for a great outfit for dinner dates in Winter. The sparkle in the fabric makes it a little bit more 'special'.

I really do think the Jeanie's wonderful. In all my quests for vintage reproduction clothing, this is the only top I have come across that is a warm one and not a cardigan!

If there is still your size left and you have thinking about getting it, don't wait any longer! They are not going to be restocked again and are such great winter wardrobe stapes!
