A lady and her Vamp :)

Vamp:  Refers to a type of Femme Fatale, a mysterious and seductive woman.  Femme Fatale is french for '' Deadly Woman'' ( Dame )

 

Micheline Pitt's Deadly Dames Vamp top in black was my first top purchased from Pinup Girl Clothing and since then I have purchased it in the baby blue, peach and next on my list is the lavender. When I first spotted this top I was instantly attracted to it's corset like bodice and the bullet bra inspired & constructed bust and best of all the adjustable straps.

The Vamp top gave me a boost of confidence when worn for the first time, it flattered my bustline beautifully and I liked what I saw in the mirror! I had not felt this way about myself in a long time!

As I was looking through my closet the other day I realized how much wear I've gotten from my Vamp tops this summer. It's an essential & versatile piece of clothing in my Vintage inspired wardrobe :)

I like wearing it worn casually by pairing it with Cigarette style jeans like I did this week for work and then supper with my hubby afterwards on the boardwalk. I call this look my casual look because usually I always wear a skirt or dress as work attire ..

When I want to dress my top up for a more polished look for work or a evening out I  like to wear it with a skirt like my Pinup Couture yellow floral pencil skirt but  I've also seen it paired with a swing skirt and it looks just as lovely! :)

In my opinion every PUG fan should add a Vamp top to their collection if not already!! You'll feel like a seductress :)

very well written Michelle!!!! i have two vamp dresses and am totally blowen away by the quality and construction.i do not yet have a top but have been thinking about getting one for a long time.thanks for sharing this,i think its time to get one,maibe mint?:)

Zynthia , sounds like you have a nice collection of Vamp tops  as well !! :D  The Zebra vamp top would look amazing with a red or black pencil skirt, i own the red/black polka dot dress but have been thinking of getting the top as well, maybe even the Tiger print one too!! One day i will own them all!!!   * Evil laugh* ;)

Marie you must get the lavender vamp someday... You look so pretty in lavender and i have a feeling the Vamp would look so good on you with a swing skirt :D

Jen, I saw your pic of you in the red/black polka dot Vamp dress and it looks so nice on you!!  The Vamp top would be a great addition to your wardrobe :) The mint Vamp would look with your Zebra high wasted pants like they have it shown on the site and with your BL cropped wasted pants too that you've ordered... Plus the mint would look really nice against your raven colored hair and porcelain skin :D

Got my vamps in the mail today!  I couldn't wait to try them on (excuse the hair - I just got off work).  I love them! Now I need more skirts to wear with them.

I agree with Marie!! The Vamps look terrific on you!!  They fit you perfectly and the peach is absolutely beautiful on you and the black Vamp will go with everything.. I Love both skirts you have them paired with as well, is the black one the Doris skirt? And the purple one with the Daisies on it is gorgeous!! I Love pockets on a skirt!! Don't you?! Thanks ladies!! The black skirt I got on ebay.  No particular label.  The floral one is Bettie Page.   I love pockets!!  I think every dress should have some haha!
