I LOVE these skirts! You're right, I enjoy wearing them over jeans any day, throw on a simple t shirt underneath, perfection. I don't wear heels with them as often, being 5'10", heels tend to make me tower over EVERYONE! Thanks for the good read!!

Bravo, I just couldn't agree more that a pencil skirt is the perfect polished casual look. It is an absolute staple in my opinion. I now own a rainbow of colors. I just love them.

I love my Dixiefried.  They give that amazing curve from waist to hip.  I find in the Pinup Couture, in order to accommodate my hips, I have to go with Small and then I have enough gape on the waist that I lose some of that. Plus the bengaline is SOOOOO comfie.

Brandi, thank you so much for sharing your pic with me!! The Dixiefried pencil skirt looks amazing on you!! What a figure you have!!  I'm glad you took the plunge and tried out a combo with the plum tank top and black skirt with the accents of red with you hair accessory, heels and Leopard purse... I can picture in my mind how lovely it would be! I love being adventurist with my clothing!  I know it may sound odd but try your plum tank top with your Burgundy skirt... I've done this combo before... It may not be for everyone but you never know until you try it :D

Linsey , i have seen fan photos of you in your Dixiefried skirt and you look PERFECT in them! I really liked the pic you posted of your perfect pencil skirt with your Bustier top :D  I would love to add the red and the black to my collection..

Lisa K, Bengaline is a great material, and their Bengaline is soft and not scratchy at all! You won't be disappointed with this pencil skirt! Great item to add to your collection you've started :D

Alecia, it,s nice to hear that other gals prefer to wear a pencil skirt than a pair of jeans :)  I've tried my pencil skirt with flats once and it did nothing for my legs and i felt so short!! Luckily i found a pair of shoes that have a short wedge on them so to me it's almost like wearing flats! LOL   :D

I'm 5'11" and a 6 or 8 US size.  How's the length on these?  I would assume I would take a medium or do they run big, as I sometimes take a small.  Thanks for the input!!!

Jessica, you're so right on the money with how versatile they are!! :) I need to catch up to you since I only have the Burgundy and gold, but would love to have the classic black one and the red of course!! I too would love to see it available in more colors, like the deep plum Masuimi dress!! *drools*

Denise, You live close by to the new Pinup Girl Boutique?! Lucky you!! :D Yes if you can you should definitely get out there and give this skirt a try!! If you own a nice shapewear or spanx like garment bring it with you when trying on the skirt to get the full effect and see how you like it :) Let me know how you make out and if you've purchased one i'd love to see it on you and how you've accessorized it :D

Lauri, I would go by your waist ,measurement... If you have a measuring tape, measure the smallest part of your waist and then the fullest part of your hips and then check out the sizing chart. I'm wearing a small and my waist is 27.5'' (28) and hips are close to 36'' The waist band part of the skirt doesn't have a lot of stretch like the rest of the skirt does, and since I sit at a desk all day for work it would get a tad uncomfortable for me, so I took the skirt to the tailor and had her move the button about a inch and that gave me some extra breathing room in the waist :) So i wouldn't say that the skirt runs big, especially in the waist!! I'm about 5'3'' and as you can see from the photos I included the skirt hits me right at the knee, I hope this info is helpful but if you have any other questions feel free to send me a message if you would like :D
