- Pinup/Vintage culture has been something that I have been interested in since I was too young to even know what it was. I remember my Uncle had a cup that had pinup girls on it in the bathroom that I would stare at in awe. My Aunt had their house decked out in 1950s and I would love going there to stare at everything. As soon as I got married, my husband and I snagged a 1959 Ranch and we have made it our Atomic Dream Home. I am now so obbessed that I don't want to buy anything unless it is vintage.
I am lucky to have a little girl now, and it has been beyond fun to buy vintage baby items. I even found her a cowgirl crib from the early 1950s! My family resides in Sioux Falls, SD which sounds kind of lame, but has proven to be a great place to live. Vintage shops are cheap here, and there are all kinds of great auctions and car shows too! I also just started a nonprofit called the Sioux Empire Rock-a-Bettys and we are bring the fun of this culture to our community. Check us out and give us a like!
I love my PUG clothes and have used them in shoots with some local photographers and one with Roy Varga. They photograph well and they always make you feel like a million bucks! Can't wait to buy some more!!
