I have the black Marlene and the silver lurex one.

The lurex one has more give in the bust area as well as the bust seam. It's just how the material is. So in that one I wear an XL. Both dresses fit and flatter curves very, very well. I am 45-36-46 (with bra size 36G/GG).

I had the black Marlene (knit) in an XL, and while I could pull it off, and loved how the bottom of the dress fit me (almost fishtail like with the kickpleat) but the bust seam was tight and boobs/cleavage were really poofed way up. The knit has give but still holds you in. I traded for a 2x and the bust seam as well as boob space is way better for me. Obviously not as tight in the lower half of the dress as the  XL, but still a curve-enhancing fit.

I'll just add that it is important to know the fit of the dresses with bust seams especially. The bigger your boobs are translates to where the bust seam will sit. I was worried that the bust seam on me would not rest in the proper place (right below my bustline) like in the model pics because of my bra size. Fortunately, it did because of the stretch, and the material stays put. However, that is not necessarily the case with, say bengaline.

I wouldn't mind having a bit of tailoring on the expanded 3-4x lines when they become available if PUG can lower the bust seams to fit larger boobs. I am hoping that not only would the measurements in these sizes be wider, but that bust line seams drop so us bustier gals won't have the seam resting above where it really should. I know this part of my post is a bit tangential but I also have the Natalie in black and find that I have to continually pull it down so that the bust seam is where it should lie, not right across my boobs. Anyway, I HTH!

Also, if you haven't had a chance to check it out, PUG has put up new photos of plus sizes in the Marlene, I remember it being in the lurex.
