Hey everyone. I hope you're all geared up for the Summer. This means more tire kicks, gatherings, and car shows. And perfect weather for driving my Chevy. It is during this time of year that I am a happy girl.
The Culver City Crusin Back to the 50's Car Show is on May 7, 2016. If you haven't participated in this show, you should. If you haven't attended, you definitely should. It's one of the more impressive collections of cars--with bitchen representation from the hotrod, ratrod, and purist communities. If you like classic cars, this is the place to be. This year, after the passing of George Barris, long time co-sponsor of the show, the show begins its relationship with the Peterson Automotive Museum. The Museum will be showcasing custom cars from movies and television at this year's show. It's sure to be a great turn out.
The show is free for spectators, and very affordable for anyone who wants to enter their car. I'm not sure if space is left, as this show fills up pretty early. The vendors are fantastic, and there's plenty of food options. It's a family friendly event.
If you're at the show, stop by and say hello. I'll be there with my 40 Chevy.
RIP George Barris...
Be well and drive fast, ladies.
