Hi gals.  I'm thinking about dying my white Bettie Page Clothing Alika pencil dress.  I like the white but it is a bit sheer and I always have to make sure my undergarments are fitting.  Also there is a tiny stain on the front.  Also I wouldn't mind something fresh to wear to my rehearsal dinner.  I was thinking a turquoise or baby blue color.  Thoughts or experiences?  Thanks!

It all depends on the fiber content. I always recommend taking a sample out of the hem and trying it first. Sometimes, the natural fibers will take and the synthetic ones do not, leaving it uneven. Also, I've dyed vintage fabrics, and the dye makes the staining worse or the areas where its been spot cleaned, show spots.
