Ever looked at a PUG dress and wished there was a top like it, or vice versa? I thought it would be fun to share ideas on what people would convert if they had the skills and chance to. Who knows the PUG overlords might get some funky ideas from our think tank.
I will go first
I would love PUG to come out with a top just like the Micheline dress (with a zipper down the back to hug my curves), the way the dress accentuates my shoulders and ladies is phenomenal and the lace creates a look to die for.
I think if PUG came up with a top like that I would dress it up with some sleek pants or skirt, or dress it down with a pair of jeans and it would completely glam up any outfit.
Nice on Brandi, I think a Marilyn top would rock
I had to go to the site and look up which one you were talking about, lol, so here's the link for the others looking for it:
Ok, trying to think of how to finish the bottom of the top to keep the tight streamline that is achieved with the dress. How would you hem it, Denise - with a satiny trim or just plainly? I agree, the top idea is totally cute.
We do have a DIY group of ladies that we post similar queries (as well as ask for opinions) about maybe non-PUG clothing as well... you may want to check it out! I posted a dress that I want to completely rehab, and the input from everyone has helped me make a decision to get it done (as well as to put a sewing machine on layaway so I can do these things myself!!).
I keep hoping the PUG Overlords will come up with a layaway plan for the rest of us (non-bridal party people), so I can afford more PUG (my wishlist is insane), but maybe designs will be more up their alley.
Its just a discussion :) I could never take a pair of scissors anywhere near my PUG. Yeah the frill on the bottom would be so cute! I just thought it would be a fun discussion to have!
Lol, I agree... When I buy my PUG, the only reason scissors will be going near it is to hem or alter it so it fits, but I would
just the thought of scissors in my hands makes me afraid...hahahaha
I've always wanted a top like the Natalie dress.
Oh, would love to see it return, then!
I would looooooooove a top like the Masuimi dress. It looks delicate to me with the lace (especially in the lavender colorway) but edgy and sexy at the same time. I would love to pair it with a circle skirt!
