Hey all!

I need help - by BFF is having her baby shower next weekend with a nautical/pirate theme (her phrasing). I asked her what she needed, and she told me she wants some cute rockabilly clothes/stuff for the baby, which is a boy who will be named Carter. I did an online Google search of "rockabilly childrens clothing" and some stuff came up, but nothing that really rang my bell. The baby is not due until the end of October, so I am not stressing about getting it to her by her shower, but would rather take the time to find the right thing and get it to her when I find it (which is totally cool with her too, and I will - of course - take some traditional shower gifts with me).

So, PUGgles... help me! Where can I find cute baby gifts that have a rockabilly vibe to them, preferably with the nautical theme? And please, something affordable - I looked at some of the Google finds, and they wanted $52 for a 4pk of screened onesies!! which is not affordable for me, lol... Also, if you can give me any links to fabric sites that may have nautically themed cute flannel fabric, I'd love that too - I usually make baby receiving blankets & burping rags out of the flannel in the theme of the shower, but I need to find some first.

Thank you for the help in advance!!!

I have found some cute stuff at Spencer Gifts see pix above, they have some cute pacifiers too, I have to say I want to open up my own clothing line of kids/baby clothes, because I have not found much either!

I would look on Esty. They have a lot of really cute things on there. Sourpuss clothing has a lot of baby items as well but they can be pricy.

I have 3 boys and when they were babies I would just buy plan white onesies and iron on whatever I wanted at the time. You can find the iron on's at any craft store. I would make them little band t's, it's a lot less expensive then buying already made ones, plus it original and personal :). Now in days some places carry black onesies too. Hope this helps! Good luck!

You can always put little rockabilly outfits together yourself. An example: solid white onsie from wherever, little stretchy jeans from the baby section at Target, and some baby shoes/socks that look like Chucks (Converse). I've seen some in different colors at Target and at Ross. You can also pair the little jeans with blue and white striped onesies as well. =)

Thank you so much girls! I knew I could count on ya'll!! I think I may go the make my own route... sounds like lots of fun (and definitely original!)! I shall post pics when I have them done!

We have a great brand called Rock Your Baby over here. Not sure how much international shipping is, though.
