It is a wonderful thing to see so many women walk through the boutique doors, put on a Pinup Girl dress and tell myself, Doris, Carole or Margarita how beautiful it makes them feel. Like they can conquer the world!
Over the weekend, PUG's very own Micheline Pitt helped take that to another level by having pinup photo sessions at the boutique! She teamed up with the amazing established photographer Holly West and the sweetest talented hair/make-up artist (and PUG model) Erika Reno to make five lucky girls feel beautiful, sexy and confident to the max!
Ladies of all ages, shapes and sizes were transformed by Micheline and Erika into perfect pinups for their private photoshoot with Holly. Although the sessions are hidden from public view, the camera flash reflecting off our curtain definitely drew a crowd in our store. I can't begin to tell you how many ladies asked what we were up to and how that was something they would love to do sometime.
Holly was a gem, helping each girl one-on-one with posing and pure encouragement. It was a pleasure having her in the store and seeing so many happy faces after taking a peek at their photos on Holly's camera.
We've done two of these sessions in store to date, this one being our second. Unfortunately, this was the last private session at the store for the rest of 2012. However, it has been quite popular and I'm sure with enough requests, you ladies may be able to book your own shoot with Holly and Micheline sometime in 2013 at the boutique!
Comment by Aoife 24K on November 15, 2012 at 2:12pm I have now done three pin up photoshoots. And let me tell you, they are such a wonderful experience. I am not a model. I am not trying to get any jobs as a pin up girl. But nothing has made me feel more feminine. And nothing has helped me display my femininity more than doing those photoshoots. I must admit it, I am hooked! And I bet the ladies who did these at the PUG boutique are probably hooked now also. I hope that they will be posting these photos. And I hope they fell just great about the whole experience. The financial cost of a photoshoot is some serious money. I wish I could do them more regularly. But I can say that the benefits far outweigh the costs.
Thanks for sharing this piece of news!
