How People Imagined The Future

The favorite task of all dreamers - imagine will look our future. There were always many dreamers, and now we can turn back and see the dreams of people from past centuries. One such project - a series of drawings from Jean-Marc Côté, made in 1899, 1900, 1901 and 1910, entitled "France in the year 2000", where artists have tried to predict the future one hundred years ahead.
Paintings include some interesting innovations, which, according to the authors, would occur over the next century.
