Hey, what's your budget? I'm going to suggest that you buy a corset 4" smaller than your waist, look for steel bones, and then a style you like :), underbust are a lot easier to wear than overbust, but you can choose anything you like :) I usually find that satin or brocade is easier to wear than leather or pleather, but once again, your choice. I personally find that a waspie is my favorite because i can just throw it on over any dress I have and wear it as a belt, super handy for adding a bit of definition.
What Katy Did is usually a great brand!! But they do tend to be on the pricey side. You just have to choose the corset carefully because some of them have a very high waist to hip ratio (you can check this my comparing the measurement of your hips to your waist) but from your photo I think you have a 5-6" difference? You look on the skinny side as well so I'm guessing you don't want anything larger than a 24 max, probably a 22 :) four inches might sound extreme but you can always leave it unlaced which actually looks a little cooler :)
I think if you shop around you can get the same quality for the money, OrchardCorset is one of my favs for buying corsets, they usually have pretty good prices, great style options, and more reasonable prices than What Katy Did http://www.orchardcorset.com
