when I had Bettie bangs 4 years ago I cut it myself... & I had never cut hair before ! 

It's pretty easy to do as long as you can do a clean parting, comb your hair smooth & cut straight accross with a rather steady hand.

You can have a friend you trust do it (for the first time for example) but I feel like it would be a waste of money & time to go to the hairdresser for this. 

My advice is :

invest in a pair of GOOD quality SMALL scissors, & one that are meant for precision hair cutting. 

Cut it when your hair is a little wet it gives you more control... BUT if it's wavy/curly cut it dry when you have blow dried it/straightened it or you'll end up with your bangs being shorter than expected !

Don't cut it too short at first... it's easier to trim again to make perfect than to wait for it to grow :)

That said it really is pretty easy ^_^ Bangs grow super fast & because you'll have to cut it every 2/3 weeks to maintain the lenght, you're gonna be a pro in no time :)
