I bought this at Viva from Masumi Max herself for $20 retail, have used it very slightly for my eyebrows. Brazilian Brown is a rich brown with a hint of golden glint. Not a matte, not a frosty color…Continue

Hi everyone.  I fell in love with the retro/pin up style a few years ago, but have only recently been beginning to adopt that into my own wardrobe.  And up until now, I'd shied away from red…Continue

So the first picture is natural brows. The second is with the left brow done. What I'm asking you ladies is some critic on it as I've never actually done my brows before I don't want to look silly. Continue

I'm a redhead & usually when I wear lipstick I feel like I look like my mum! Needless to say I don't often wear it, however I have recently found and fallen in love with Revlon lip butter in colourburst.

Is there any other redheads out their with lipsticks they can recomemnd?

I just started a blog called Bouffants and Beehives.  On it I talk about vintage hair and makeup.  There are lots of resources too. Check it out! www.bouffantsandbeehives.com

What eye make up help do you need?

@Alyssa, I have red auburn hair, and I go for full on red.  I think corals would be lovely on you, especially the Besame Carmine.  Try the regular Revlon Colorburst in Coral - it is quite lovely.  I actually never use mine, I could sanitize it and ship it to you if you would like to try it.  Just sits in my drawer.

I jsut got the hair book. Anyone else have it and use it. What do you think? Are there better resources for styles? I love to wear them but some of them are a little more outlandish than I can get away with at work

I have the hair book and also the beauty book. Don't waste your money on the beauty book! Unless the 1920s and 30s makeup really interests you and you intend to wear it out.

I liked the book when I bought it but have to admit that most of the hairstyles I do are from Youtube videos rather than from the book.

I agree, and so does Lisa Freemont St. But if you search, there are lots that show how to do the styles in an easier way than the book. I'm happy to have the book as a coffee table book but I really don't use it as reference for my hairstyles. I guess if I wanted a hairdresser to do a vintage style I'd take the book along with me, but that would be the only time!

I have done the wiggy tails a few times on Friday. I get lots of looks but lots of compliments too. I'm not great at the curls but I can do them. I do better at the Rockabilly look wiht a bandana.

I love all teh videos you upload. It has really helped.

Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes I post all I hear is crickets! :)
