Hello ladies! Just curious to hear everyone's PUG story...what was your first PUG piece, the one you saw that made you buckle and break down and finally order already? Is it still your favorite out of however many other PUGs you've accumulated since then?

On a slightly separate topic, I have noticed a LOT of wiggle-dress love. I'm wondering, do folks in general go more for those designs compared to flared, swing-style dresses? For me, twirly skirts with big fluffy petticoats can't be beat. I've never yet tried on a wiggle dress that I much cared for the way it made me look, but I seem to see a lot more pictures and more sales/swaps of those form-fitting slinky numbers than I do of my beloved swing skirts (then again, maybe everyone with the swing dresses loves them so much they never ever sell them...hmm...).

Can someone from the wiggle camp open my eyes? Why do you like it so much? Do you like it more than the 50s flare, or does it just depend on the occasion/mood you're in?

I had admired PUG clothing from afar for a few years not actually thinking the clothes (dresses/bathing suits) would actually fit me- I laugh at this now because I was about 2 sizes smaller then with that thinking than I am now. my first pug dress was the Cherry Print Heidi and the Leopard Print Heidi- I had been a in a women of all sizes fashion show and the dresses I were fitted in were swing style dresses- i.e. the Heidi. I bought the Cherry Heidi on the spot from the store that had sponsored the fashion show, and then began my wallet's demise but my closest's happiness :) I've managed to scoop almost every Heidi I can find- the exception being the black with cream bow, the solid black (which I troll the swap pages and ebay for regularly to no avail). it actually wasn't until June of this year that I tried the Nettie, again at the same local store here- and bam! loved it :) so from there I eagerly purchased all available in my size Nettie's my favorites being the Squirrel, Kitty and Cowboy prints- I am missing the Red-Cowboy Print which like my missing Heidi's I scour ebay and the swap pages for. I've tried and failed a few times now on more straight length/wiggle shaped dresses thus far, I'm not sure if it's a combination of my wide back/ribs and hips, but they rarely work for :( the exception being the Sophia Dress which I was pretty gobsmacked when it did zip up, though it requires some shape-wear. I think I am most partial to swing style skirts and dresses, I like the foof- I do wear them to work, and always have a cardigan on with them since I can't show my tattoos and the heidi's are like boob central.

next to the dresses, I love PUG's swimming suits- their bettie swimsuit's in particular- I love them :) I also really love the swimsuits by Esther Williams and Fables by Barrie.  I did not have the best of luck with the PUG bikini's which is shame because they are awesome, but at 2X and being busty the last thing *I* need is padding in the boob area, which is what the bikini came with :/

My first purchase was the Greta in Burgandy.  I found it by sheer accident online while looking for something fabulous for my 40th.  I dreamt about it for months - had the picture and site bookmarked on the computer & kept going back to it.  I finally showed it to my husband who convinced me to get it.  Since then I have purchased the Michilene in black, the Erin in turquoise, the red polka dot Anna, the red polka dot Vamp dress the blue birdie (which I have yet to wear as swing skirts  are not something I have worn - but I am dying to find a place to wear this dress).  the sean top in burgandy, the harrison in burgandy and the bombshell in burgandy.   Yes I like burgandy.  I like how the wiggle dresses make me feel - Even if I feel disgusting about my body - I put one on & I feel beautiful.
