Pinup couture pencil skirts

I have 4 of the PC pencil skirts and one Dixifried perfect pencil skirt. Other than the navy blue PC skirt (which is bengaline like the DF ones), the PC pencil skirts seem to somewhat lose their shape after a day of wear. They continue to fit fine around the waist but kind of loosen up through wear in the hip/ leg area. I was wondering if anyone else finds this and if they have any tips for preventing it... Has anyone tried putting their skirts in the dryer, for eg, and does this help? (kinda worried about trying this in case I damage them). It's not the skirts don't still look great at the end of the day, it would just be preferable if they keep the very body skimming shape they have when I put them on (like the bengaline skirts). Maybe it's the fabric and nothing can be done, or maybe it's cos I'm tall and my long stride is to blame...just thought someone might have some ideas. Thanks.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's probably unavoidable. Bengaline is just superior for keeping its shape it seems.

Being a bigger "gurl" this is a constant problem for me. I have found that skirt with more spandex or lycra retain their shape better and cling to my curves better.

I have to agree. I find the Bengaline skirts hold their shape better and are ore comfortable for work wear. I wish the Dixiefried skirts came in all the patterns the PC ones do.
