Hey Ladies, I'm visiting Los Angeles for the first time on August 8th-15th, job hunting and site seeing. What are your best suggestions for a vintage enthusiast or anything exciting I should check out (besides the new PUG store)?:)
There is so much to do here! What are you looking to do? Sight see? Shopping? It depends on what you want to do. There are some awesome vintage shops, check out http://www.shareen.com/, http://www.vintageplayclothes.com/ (near PUG Boutique), and http://www.yelp.com/biz/hidden-treasures-topanga. If you want to sight see like a true tourist, check out http://www.starlinetours.com/los-angeles-tours.asp, they have some good deals right now. If you are looking for a good Martini bar to hit, check out http://www.lolasla.com/, For awesome Tiki bars, check out http://www.tiki-ti.com/ and http://www.yelp.com/biz/tiki-no-san-fernando-valley. Also, on August 18th Reverend Horton Heat is playing in Downtown L.A. for FREE, check out http://www.laparks.org/pershingsquare/august18.html.
I hope that helps a bit. Have fun and good luck with you job hunt.
