Hey ladies. I have set my eyes on the Marilyn Knit top, but have a question; How do you bigger-busted gals do with bras and the like? I'm not enourmous, but still big enough and natural enough (read 'saggy' ;) ) to need a bra. Is it corset or something similar that's needed under a top like that? I can't wear strapless bras, unfortuneately.
Hope you can help!

P.S I have no idea what category to put this discussion under, and I can only chose from two... o.O

I have a full bust and I can't wear them either - I don't fancy having bra straps hanging out so it's just one of those things that aren't meant to be! x
Permalink Reply by Lucy Sunshine on November 23, 2012 at 9:55am See, I take the other approach. I don't mind my bra straps showing in an off the shoulder top as long as they are pretty. I'm partial to leopard, and have three bras with leopard straps that I wear with off the shoulder or see through tops. As long as it's not spaghetti straps, I'm fine!
Permalink Reply by Victoria Garcia on November 24, 2012 at 5:45am If you can't wear a strapless bra because your bust tends to still have that "natural" look, maybe a longline bra would work instead? I haven't tried one yet, but they're supposed to be supportive for larger busts and still provide that strapless look. :)
Permalink Reply by Auburn Hills on November 24, 2012 at 7:39am Is that the Marilyn top by Heartbreaker? I also am busty and the shoulders are really too wide for me. I tried it with the bra straps peeking out, but it wasn't right. The fabric is very ugly to be honest, much like a thick men's t-shrit,. Not much stretch and not a great shape to start with. It would be better with more shaping at the waist for a body hugging shape. I ordered a medium, measure 34ddd, 28 waist and 36 hip and it was really big. I say, skip it.
Permalink Reply by Bonnie Lynn Bozell on November 24, 2012 at 7:42am Have you tried a corset, bustier or a longline bra? I ordered a really wonderful bustier from a site that carries the same ones as PUG - it's called her room.com. My corset/bustier is Dominique brand. REALLY comfortable. I was worried that I wouldn't like it because I can't stand wearing anything strapless because it tends to make my boobs look weird. (I'm a 36D or a 36 DD in some cases).
They have a good return policy, so maybe that will be something you could check out?
