Hey PUG ladies!

Just curious if anyone has some suggestions for a good waist trimmer. Has anyone had experience with the waist trimmers from PUG? One had great reviews, and the other has not so great reviews...so I wanted to talk to some real ladies about it(perks/issues). Any outside of PUG you would recommend?

ALSO! Boob issues when wearing low cut dresses(sometimes without a bra, eek)...How do you look "pushed up" and awesome for off-the-shoulder, plunging neckline, and strapless dresses? I'm a 36C (and kinda pushing it there) and I need some suggestions!

SHOES. Where do you recommend buying shoes? I need shoes that are 3.5 and under because I become wobbly in anything higher, but many PUG shoes are 4+ inches, and I have had to return them because I cant walk in them and/or roll my ankles. :(

Any other fashion accessories you consider must-haves for pinup? Any and ALL suggestions are so very appreciated! I have only recently been able to afford my passion for pin-up so I need some advice from people who have been doing it for longer.

xoxo Tori

Waist cinchers: What Katie Did or Rago are the only two I do/would use myself (I prefer WKD, but know many who prefer Rago)

Bras: 1) sounds like you need to get yourself fitted, or measure yourself - your back and future boobies will thank you if you do this (but please stay away from Victoria's Secret!) 2) then get either a good strapless bra and/or a good merry widow/bustier (see WKD & Rago again)

Shoes: I get my shoes from Irregular Choice, and high street stores, but then I have to have at least a 4" heel, and I'm usually well catered for there.  I know I *can't* walk in Miss L Fire shoes though, because they're really low :)

thank you!

For waist trimming I would recommend a steel bone waist cincher. I love my Playgirl cincher, only took a month to season. I purchased it through Amazon. Cinchers and corsets can be better in regards to removal...you can take it off in a sexy way without having to wiggle and struggle out of it. A cincher paired with a strapless bra brings unbelievable clevage. Additonally, if you wanted to go braless the top of the cincher/corest would act as an underwire bra.

But if you don't want to get into corset training ( though i highly recommend the slimming effects) the Merry Widow Corselette is the way to go. **See picture below of a 1952 Vogue ad for Warners lingerie. The left side of the image shows the dress and the right shows the undergarment that you should wear underneath**

I like What Katie Did, via Amazon. They are comfortable, great quality, and look super sexy.

PUG wise, check out this image. It is a Rago girdle paired with a strapless bra. It looks sexy and gets the job done. Not a huge fan of Rago, it is cheaper and tends to fall apart fast.

Shoes: I recently started wearing shorter heels because of my new job. Some great PUG shoes under 4 inches are: Tiki Shoes. They are 3 1/2 inches with a thicker heel for more support. The bronze are surprising versatile and (dare i say) tikitastic. Pump and Circumstance come in a few different colors, 3 1/2 inches of classic-ness for work and play.

Hope this helps Tori!

Margaux

check out BAIT shoes, they have a lot of super cute shoes with low heels, they all have a vintage look to them and I have read a lot of great reviews from them, I have read when you buy your size they are snug and to wear thick socks with them for a little while and they will stretch to fit your foot.

You could look into Orchard Corset for a waist cincher, they also sell shape wear from Rago too, but I just bought a corset from them and it is great quality, you will have to season it though before wearing full time

Some costume jewelry is required. I've used statement necklace from here http://velvetcaviar.com/collections/fashion-jewelry

I purchased a waist cincher with garter straps from WhatKatieDid and I love it; I got it on sale which was even better.  It's not as strict as a corset but it did take 1-1.5 inches off my waist and it smooth's out the lines.  I highly recommend their website.
