Please note this post is not intended to offend anyone. I appreciate  women of all sizes. I'm merely trying to find out which PUG clothing  works for much smaller women.

I do check the measurement chart for each garment but sometimes I find they actually run much bigger. My measurements are 31.5, 25, 30 and I'm 4'11" (or 1.50m). I'm of Chinese descent so naturally very small.
I have a number of items from PUG but find I can really only wear 2 of them - the Dee Dee dress (before the new size adjustment) and the  Deadly Dames Haunted Housewife (but only if I wear two bras). The Je T'Adore dress works too but I have to get it hemmed as it doesn't look nice where it currently sits. The rest I have to get completely altered but have yet to do as I haven't found someone yet who does a great job and alterations are not cheap either!
So if you are also tiny/XXS, which garments have worked for you?

And what didn't work so well for you?

There are garments I love but would never buy because I'm afraid it wouldn't look as good on my figure. You girls may give me good ideas about garments that I thought wouldn't suit tiny women but actually do!

i am  5.4 and i find most dresses too long too. i think its meant to be altered. longer is better than shorter right

I'm 5'2 so most clothing is too long for me.  I have the same problem with the zippers poking out or the torso being way too long.  I also love the swing dresses, they are so beautiful but I get lost in too much dress.  I usually can get by with a few alterations, as I'm not all that small just short. I usually wear a medium.

It would be great if they could offer a petite version of some of the better selling pieces. Shorter torso, shorter hem length, slimmer shoulders.

I find most of the Deadly Dames pieces work out very well.  The vamp tops, the dresses and I just got my first pair of capris that fit amazing and make my legs look long.  The http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/annalise-dress-in-black-with-pink-... Annalise dress is the only swing dress I can wear comfortably.  The top part is fitted and the skirt is full and easily hemmed without losing any detail.

I agree, Pin Up Girl cater for plus sizes but they should also create a Petite range!

I forgot to add, I get some of my dresses custom made for my measurements by Heart My Closet.  There is about a 2-3 week turnaround time, and when the dress shows up, it fits perfectly.  They range in price from $88 to $160.

Just having sold and traded different sizes of PUG, there are definitely a few styles that stand out to me as being very, very petite, just to the eye, even for being tagged XS.  The Natasha, Amelia and Niagara come to mind immediately. The XS Doris and Audrey skirts are very small in the waist, but it sounds like the fullness of those skirts may overwhelm the figure.  The shorter length Heidi would be perfect, and the Mon Cheri creates a beautiful hourglass shape.

Niagara looks really weird on a flat belly. I wanted one really badly because I adore the pink one but it sits oddly and rumples :(

I have a bunch of Stop Staring clothing, so if you are interested in the fit of anything in particular, ask away! Odds are pretty good that I have it.

yes i am tiny too.

i wish they come in xxs too

i have a few stop starinng dress following the size chart which is very bad. the chart says i should a small but its way way too big. it doesnt state any advice like pug does on the chart and the description on stretch is so not true.

it wasnt worth it for me to send it back so i have to like with a few oversized dress in my closet. have to send alot on alterations

This thread is so helpful! I'm small, too! 4'11, (but curvy 34-25-38)..I have to alter everything, most of the time, the hems. I've been shying away from things like border prints and stuff, because I'm afraid it'll all be too long :(

My Doris tops fit pretty well. There is some space in the bust, but I think I may alter that. You can't really tell so much when it's on anyway!I also have a couple of Deadly Dames dresses (a shorter leopard print one and a Tie Me Up) and both are a little big in the bust, but again, you can't tell so much that it's noticeable at all.

I'm lucky I've been sewing for a million years, but it's still tough.
