So, I was discussing favorite PUG clothing with my sister last night, and we got to talking about our favorite pieces in our wardrobe. Then she asked me what is my absolute favorite piece from Pinup Girl Clothing that I have in my wardrobe…a piece that I will absolutely never get rid of - and will wear it until I die.
I replied to her that it would have to be my white Natasha Pin Dot dress with red trim. Second in line favorite is my new Turquoise Harlequin Print Dress.
So, ladies! What is your absolute favorite PUG piece in your wardrobe? (Something that would have to be pried from your cold, dead, fingers before you gave it up).
and I can see why you love it!!
I don't own one yet, but my favourite PUG dress of all time is the Heidi, especially if the fabric has an adorable print. I'm currently eyeing up the cherry one and the two ones in the Coming Soon section, and I'm hoping the cat print and red rose print ones will be back in stock one day.
My absolute favorite PUG dress is this baby. The fabric is deliciously stretchy, the neckline is just plain dangerous, it's comfy, and I can accessorize it in countless ways. They no longer make it in the solid black so it's like the holy grail of dresses for me. I check eBay for it weekly so I can get myself a backup :)
Hillary that dress is just to die for!! I hope they get it back in stock one day :)
I'm going with my pink Malibu as my most cherished piece, simply because I can't easily, if at all, replace it if I need to. I altered the halter into regular straps for comfort, replaced the zipper because the original was a loose-goose and just this week actually, I had to paint it... Yep.
I never noticed it before, no clue how it got there, but BAM - right there. See it?^^ This is my "I didn't take a before photo, so let me demonstrate with a sticker" photo :) Grrr! Not a large black spot, but a black spot all the same and now that I've seen it - IT CANNOT BE UNSEEN!
It was marker. Likely Sharpie as it didn't come out AT ALL no matter what I used. Don't care how it got there, I want it gone!!! So I took out my paints and saved the damn day, kinda...
A bit of a "Monet" I'll admit, but hey, at least I don't look down and instantly notice this big black splotch! If anyone's curious I mixed the colours myself using different acrylics added to tintable fabric medium.
I am SO impressed. I literally can't even find the spot in the last two pictures- Seriously. Where the heck did it go? Great job!!
Thanks!! It's probably far more noticeable to me because I did it and know exactly where to look - here I assumed I wouldn't need to mark the photos because "everyone can see that". It was near the bottom - the middle left flower in the close up, I tried to line it up with an unpainted pair of flowers to show how close/not close I got it :)
When my man-fella saw me with my dress and a bunch of paint he thought I was loopy... Have to admit I wasn't certain I'd pull it off but I'm super happy with how it turned out.
Well I still can't find it so I would say you did an outstanding job! You could probably sell your services as a professional stain-hider lol ;).
