Dear Dolls,

I have always ironed my clothing to get out wrinkles. But I notice that when I've done photo shoots, the photographers often will use a steamer to make the clothing look just right. And when at the PUG Boutique, I have often seen the staff steaming clothing before putting it out on the racks. Any opinions? I will be glamming up quite a bit in the next couple of weeks and I was wondering if I should just spring for a steamer. I was looking them up on the Bed Bath and Beyond website. Any specific suggestions? Ironing versus steaming, what are your thoughts?

I hate ironing, so I bought the most expensive steam iron in the shop a few years ago (£90!) and it easily halved my ironing time.  Now, I rarely iron, but when I need to if I can get away with just using the steam function I will do; but if I needed to replace my iron, you can bet I'd still get the expensive steam one so I can have the best of both worlds :)

Steaming can also 'freshen' the clothes too.

I find steaming easy and quick, you just bring the steamer out and hang the piece on the provided hook and done! while ironing, you need to get out the board ect.

I use the tobi, im sure there are better things out there. And honestly, i do both steam and iron, it depends on how i feel and how much time i have. lol

Steamer all the way - and a small one for travelling is a life-saver. This one works well I use it at home and when traveling:

Thanks everyone, now that I am back in town, I plan on picking one up.
