I thought it might be fun to share your top beauty tips! Being all across the world we may all have the same ideas or have totally different tips and tricks learnt over the years and the fact that they orginate from different places that would be useful to people. Share anything you think is a top tip weather its for skin care, diet, make-up, hair, confidence, anything linked to beauty really! What ever your routine is!

A couple from me would be:

  • Drink lots of water – cutting out the amount of fizzy drinks has really helped for me
  • I have to get my eyebrows regularly tinted and waxed, I think it makes such a difference to the way I look – I would recommend it to anyone!
  • Manicures and pedicure, I think nice feet and hands make such a difference and make me much more confident – Either go to a salon or DIY
  • I always take my make up off before bed and never use soap on my face, always a face wash
  • I have certain make up products that I have to have that over the years I have learnt are best for my skin and my look
  • Every few weeks I’ll use a face mask for an extra skin care boost
  • I really take care of my hair, getting regular cut and colours. I use Loreal Vitamino Colour Shampoo and Absolute Repair Conditioner and Moroccan Oil religiously

My friends keep telling me I need to get facial and massage as I’ve never had them and they are key for relaxation and total pampering…maybe I’ll get one at some point!

Look forward to hearing your tips!

I have just started trying to eat more spinach, alot of people have said it works!!

How could i forget about sun screen! Been looking for a light weight one....not that i need it much living in England!

My skin is also combination and is prone to break outs. What products do you find best for this skin type?? Ive just been using a garnier face wash and estee lauder face cream.

I'm 30 and get asked for ID when I try to buy Alchol or enter a club in AUS, the UK, US and even France! My secret? I DON'T wear foundation or make up and I exercise and eat healthy.
The most I wear is mascara and lipstick on bare cleansed and moisturised skin (my moisturiser has SPF 15). I mostly just go natural with a touch of lippy
My other big secret are eggs! Abt 2 a day, I know there's the whole argument with the cholesterol thing but I have excellent cholesterol levels. But they are a super food and full of good fats which are excellent for skin
Lastly I ride my bike alternate days (I'm talking a minimum of abt 30miles) I also run every other day and make sure I am very very sweaty (I think exercise contributes to flushing out toxins)
Results are crystal clear skin! No heavy routines, no expensive creams or lotions. Basically don't over do the make up and get your insides healthy trough exercise!

I swear by the following items:

Apricot scrub. I use it to exfoliate my skin and as a shaving helper/gel/creme. It lifts any dead skin and makes me feel very smooth.

Queen Helen's Mint Masque. You can find it in Target, Walgreens, etc.. It runs about $3 and it dries pimples, tightens pores, and is an overall miracle worker. Once a week, I'll mix the mint masque with the apricot scrub and leave on for 30 mins.

Witch Hazel. I wipe my face down 2x daily -- in the AM and PM before bed. It just leaves a soft, clean feeling that I adore.

Finally, Queen Helene's Cocoa Butter Lotion. It also is relatively cheap at $2 for 32 oz. You can find it at the same places as the Mint Masque. I use it everywhere. Face, legs, arms -- you get the drift. It makes your skin feel oh so soft and without breaking the bank.

Thanks ladies!!

Apricot scrub - getting some tomorrow! See how it goes!

Queen Helen's Mint Masque and Queen Helene's Cocoa Butter Lotion - I'll ask my cousin in America to pick me up some to try, shes coming over in a few months so getting her to stock up on all sorts for me!

Witch Hazel - getting some tomorrow to try!
