Good evening,

I was just wondering how people are approaching this subject.  On facebook you are supposed to personally know the people you want to friend.  Is that the case here?  Will we get in trouble if you send a friend request and don't know the person?

Just wondering,

Miss Stacy Blaise

I would think that part of the reason for this website is to be able to make new friends in our PUG-mmunity. But that's my thinking... Maybe someone in charge will let us know! :)

I totally agree!

Hm I've been wondering about this myself. Basically while I've added some PUG people (who were all very nice and added me back so yay!) I haven't added anyone else for fear of stepping on toes. I'm thinking about just shooting a message that goes "Hey I really think you sound like an amazing person may I add you as a friend?" or something like that.

I mean we're ALL amazing (we all shop PUG so that's a given) but you know ;)

Hopefully the glorious supreme overlord or someone high up will let us know.

wasn't this entire friend thing easier when we were kids? we didn't even have to ask we just went ahead and got to know amazing people =)

lol... maybe for you, but for my shy self at a young (ok, i'll admit, through college), so was a problem. i envied their friendship from afar... now, i'm a little more forward. :)

Oh I meant a much younger age, kindergarten age. That's when it was much easier, you know how kids just start playing after a while. I was shy too and still am sometimes so I totally understand the way you feel.

I think this is a great way to make friends with like minded people...I say friend away :) it's up to the other person if they want to accept. I

You don't have to personally know them, it's to get involved in the PUG community. Share your ideas and cultures with whom ever you see fit!

I say friend away!  As far as my personal relationships go I am one of a kind in my love of PUG so in my group of friends I'm 'that quirky' friend or 'the oldest young girl I know'.  I'm still really new to embracing fully the PUG lifestyle so for me it's great to see so many like minded ladies in one spot and give me some inspiration and confidence to to fully be who I am :)

hey! yet again i agree with you cari!! good to know we're not alone, right?? :)

I wholly agree with everything you say! PUG Style is a chance to make new friends! Friends with common interests that you can relate to!

Your post is almost word for word what I would write, so don't be shy everyone, just go for it x
