awesome! this will be my first year. Are there lots of pinup clothing or accessories vendors? I'm moving from California to San Antonio & have been looking for actual stores to shop but haven't really found anything. I figured events like this, I may have better luck **crossing my fingers**

I've been thinking the same!!! But it sounds like the pin up scene in Texas is going on in Austin :( i picked the wrong city! lol

Austin isn't too far of a drive at least!

yes! definitely! i'm really looking forward to exploring Austin too!!! :D

I go every year as well!  The Austin vintage group I run usually has at least one meet-up during Round Up.  There were a few different events all over Austin in the evenings this year, instead of just South Congress, and that was awesome.  You have to experience the madness on Congress at least once though.. it's amazing to see so many cars in one place.

thanks for the tip, i'll def look into Congress :)

Sure thing!  There are a few other events in both Austin and San Antonio to keep an eye out for, if you're in to the rockabilly/car scene.  Revival Fest didn't happen this year but it's usually an all day music festival with burlesque in the spring, Lone Star 13 just started this year in San Antonio, Murpho's will often sponsor bigger car shows with music a few times a year.  There's A-town Rockabilly Roundup once a month and Shock Hop is usually seasonal.  They often have awesome prizes for their pin-up contests.  I think there's a monthly show in Gruene too.

I'm sure there are others I'm not thinking of.. there's a pretty decent scene between San Antonio and Austin!

Oh my gosh! That's quite a bit, thank goodness! i'll definitely have to make my way up and meet up with you and your vintage group too :)

You definitely should!  We're on Meet-up as Austin Vintage Vixens.  There's also a facebook page: Facebook.com/ATXVintage

If you've already made your way to Texas, Hot Rod Revolution is November 23rd in Gruene.  It's a traditional pre-1948 hot rod show.  I'm not sure if they're doing anything pin-up related but it's a small show and really well done.  I do know they're going to have vendors but they might just be car related.  http://www.hotrodrevolution.com

I'll be there this year. Its my first year. I'm pretty excited
