oh, good luck! Not going to guarantee the size is the same across every dress as I have a wiggle that says it's meant to fit tight, but most of the time it should be I think :)

This is the size 8 on me, I did tie it but I found that after a few minutes the tie slips out as it is this really lovely silky fabric. I'm just going to safety pin it when I take this one out for a spin on Saturday (birthday party) because it is a little big on my waist as I suspected, but I still <3 the buttons, and it's better quality than I though it would be :)

oh uh oh, Saturday isn't my birthday, ^_^, just a birthday party for a friend. She wanted everyone to try to look nice though so a dress it is. 

Thanks for the complement! So far I really love the dress, just not sure if I'm going to take it in on the waist or just keep pinning it back as it doesn't look too bad this way :)

I can't get their sizing down at all! I've tried 2. I've tried a UK 12 and UK 14. Way too small

I think their website is for wholesale only, I picked mine up from another shop which is katesclothing.co.uk but I know there are plenty of others and even eBay/Amazon have them as well I just tried to find the best price first.

I have this same H&R dress, except it has white polka dots on it. It's made really well, great quality. I actually got mine from a local vintage shop and the only size they had was almost 2 sizes larger than what I wear but the price was so cheap I couldn't pass it by! =) The good thing about this dress is even though I got it in a larger size, it ties at the waist and around the neck so I was still able to customize it to my body and make it fit nicely. Love H&R brand.

It's an amazing dress right. I've seen it dozens of times in blue with white polka dots :) really cute dress! I think a looser fit is better if you want to wear it to work or something anyway, mine's a bit snug on the hips for that actually! I think my waist is a little short for it but I <3 it. Yay for affordable nice dresses :).
