Hey everyone! It's me Tahitia and I wanted to talk to you all about... drum roll please... VIVA LAS VEGAS!! :) As I've mentioned before, after a long year of saving up and sacrifice my hubby and I are going to be able to make it down to our very first Viva this year, and we really want to make the most out of it!

First, I was wondering exactly who here on Pinup Style thinks that they're going to be able to make it down this year?

Second, assuming that we're able to meet up of course, we'll have all the Viva events themselves to take up most of our time, but I was wondering if from the experience of people who've been there if people usually in groups or just couples end up heading to strip to see the big casino's for a few hours, go catch a show or just take a walk to be seen in our awesome PUG? Or will there literally be so many awesome things to do that we never leave Viva itself?

Third and last, I wanted to mention the idea of organizing some sort of big group photoshoot, even if it's only for one or two pictures. I saw on Viola Von Kitten's Traveling thread someone had mentioned that photographers set up specials for shoots, and I can't think of any better keepsake for the trip than to have a picture taken of all the ladies who could make it out.

So if you're interested let me know if you want to meet up come Viva and have some PUG fun while we're there together ;)

Haha, I know! I'm all excited too! Well it'll be great to meet all of u gals! Take your cameras! Hope to meet u and your hubby next year April : ) Oh and I have a quick question about parasols because I haven't actually seen one in person n don't know how to choose a quality one online...are they made out of cloth? Or paper? O_o
Ooh, good to know, I'll start looking for one then, thanks ladies!

I will be there! Last year Friday-Sunday was too busy to go to the Strip, but I was able to go Wednesday evening when I arrived and during some downtime on Thursday. Hope to see you ladies! :)

That's awesome to hear Kara! I'll inbox you right now if it's not too late and we'll figure out a way to meet up :)

ONE MORE DAY!!!!!!!

Hey everyone! It's almost Viva time and I just wanted to let you all know what we (my hubby and I ;) ) are planning on doing and when in case anyone wanted to join us.

Thursday

After we check in to our hotel Wednesday afternoon, we're going to be hitting the strip at 6'ish. We might go in a Casino or two if we can. I've never been to Las Vegas before so this is going to be my first time seeing all the big sights :)

At 10 pm we're going to go to the Wanton Women show at Mandalay Bay featuring the amazing Laura Byrnes, this is one the biggest parts of Viva that I've been looking forward to.

Friday

I'll be going to Bettina May's Pin-Up Foundation Essential event at 10:30. I'm a big fan of Miss May's and I'm really looking forward to what ever advice she'll be sharing.

Friday night my hubby and I are going to try to get tickets to go see Zumanity at New York New York. I've always wanted to see a Cirque to Soleil show :)

Afterwards or maybe before hand, or maybe at some other time we'll try to go to Frankie's Tiki Room. I've heard that this is an absolute must see and visit place in Vegas for any rockabilly/pinup gal and I would LOVE it if we could get a big group together to go together.

Saturday

We'll try to be at the car show close to opening at 9am, neither my husband or I can wait to see the cars and crowds all together for the Saturday.

At 2pm I'll be at the official Meet & Greet at the PUG booth of course. This without a doubt is the biggest event that I'm looking forward to. I love you all so much and I can't wait to finally meet some of you.

After the meet & greet we don't have a lot of plans, but we're hoping to see the Burlesque Bingo Show at 8pm and the big Miss Viva Las Vegas Burlesque Compeition at 11pm

Sunday

For Sunday we don't have a lot of plans either since we have to leave to catch our flight close to 4pm, but we'd be up for something if anyone else was before then.

That's what we have planned so far. If anyone else has any suggestions and or wants to join us feel free to inbox me!

Thanks and take care everyone :)

Sounds like a great plan. I will say for Burlesque Bingo get there early. Last year a few of the events had to turn people away. I'm not sure if she'll be there this year, but last year Tempest Storm was there! Yes, Frankies is amazing. We usually got on Wednesday when we first get it and they just added some new drinks. Im not sure what we have planned, but hopefully I'll see some of you around.

My mom & I will be going. Its our 1st yr!

Ladies, I am sorry to say that I will not be at Viva. But I would really love to see photographs of all of you lovely ladies on your rounds of fun activities! And not only photos, but we want to hear stories. So please report back to us!

We don't have much of a schedule at all - we get into Vegas at 830 am tomorrow. We're HOPING they might let us check into our rooms early (I've got dresses to iron here!). Wednesday afternoon we're checking out the Neon Sign Graveyard and go to a Thai place for dinner with friends. Thursday and Friday I plan on just people watching and floating around the various goings on. Saturday - car show of course! I'd love to get to Frankie's at some point Thurs or Fri. Sunday we don't leave until 7 pm so we have all day to relax and maybe chill by the pool.

Auburn I know exactly where you are coming from, there were just too many things to do that all seemed to be happening at the same time. I wanted so badly to stick around the PUG booth for the whole day because I was just having so much fun but there were too many other things to see, places to go and people to meet with :(

My hubby and I still had an awesome time though. If you're going back next year and you're interested I'd love to try to meet up with you, that way at least we could all loose track of time together :)
