So I happen to be one of those crazies who loooves her animals. I figured I can't possibly be alone (and here come the crickets).

I have a full 20 gallon fish tank with a betta, 2 platys, 3 corydoras, and a loach happily coexisting. It's a full planted tank and its lovely to watch. I am crazy about fish. If I could, my whole house would be one big aquarium, but my electricity bill and lifestyle doesn't quite allow the time to do that (booooo. :c)

In addition to that, I also have a frilled dragon. He's a handsome little devil, but a total sass-pot (kinda like is owner...)

So, ladies of PUG, what little loves do you own?

LOVE Charlotte's face... I get the same face from Coco when she wants something... usually, it's her belly rubbed.

Those big eyes melt my heart, I could just eat them up with a spoon!

 Olli - 8yrs cream burmese

Frankie - 8yrs Eastern Long-necked turtle

Poppy - 3yrs naughty tortie

lol, naughty tortie... are there any good kitties? aren't they all naughty (I know mine are!)!

My kitty is definitely naughty too. :)

I loooove my pets! I've got a cat, Abbey and two dogs, Anthem and Olive.

Thats a great photo of abbey!

Thanks! :) Maybe it's her pinup pose. haha

yay a pet post!

my fiance and I have 7 cats and 1 dog- a Great Pyr named Rolo the Wonderpup. I volunteer with a Cat Rescue/Advocacy group locally (hence the 7 cats) to spay/neuter trap and release feral cats, adopt those who can be tamed, take in abused/neglected/abandoned cats and kittens. our cats vary in age from 7 years to-3 months, the latest member (and hopefully the last one until we move back to the US) is a Grey/White kitten we've named Alfie Cornelius- in addition Alfie we've got Finlay-Jarvis, Watson-Ebeneezer, Basil Von Cattenburgh, Penny, Liam Long Bottom, and Mortimer Mayhem. we're quite lucky in that they all get along very well and have no issues between the cat clan and Rolo.

Does your cat clan overrun Rolo??

nope! Mortimer and Rolo are pretty much BFF's.

we're really lucky. Great Pyr's are a breed who happen to be really excellent with cats.

It's really fun seeing everyone's babies. I presently have 7 cats, all of them rescues and strays I took in. From oldest to youngest they are Mama (at least 14) and her son Zombie (13), Maya(7), Simon(6), Rampage(4), Tigger(1) and the newest addition, a 4 month old kitten named Houdini. Mama was giving birth on a concrete doorstep in freezing rain and Zombie, her first-born, was already lifeless from hypothermia by the time my kids ran home to get blankets and a box and returned to her. It took some work, but I finally managed to revive him, hence the name :) . In the past year I've lost my very special girl Wukka (my image) and my "Amazing Hugging Cat Diego". That's probably why I have 2 new ones, because every time I lose one, another comes along needing a forever home. I also have 2 dogs, Loki (16), a Shepherd cross feral I rescued who has become the most loyal and loving dog ever, and Rocko (11), a Collie cross(probably with Husky) with the most fur EVER. He still bounces around like a puppy.

I've always had lots of animals, an average of half a dozen cats and 2-3 dogs because I find them and end up keeping them since I have trouble finding what I feel are the right homes for them. There are lots of homes for animal if you don't care who they end up with, but not so many GOOD homes and the no-kill shelters are always overflowing. In the newspaper here this past weekend there were quite a few pages devoted to the cat over-population issue. Mine are ALWAYS spayed or neutered.

When my kids were small I had 3 Irish Wolfhounds (not rescued), then a  Great Pyrenees and a Collie, a rabbit, other cats of course, and fish.

I am constantly wearing a "fur coat", burning out vacuum cleaners, and will never have a lovely home because my furry babies see to that, but I can't imagine life without them. :)
