It's time for me to get some new perfume. Unfortunately i have yet to find my signature scent. I am quite picky about what i like and thought this would be the perfect place to get some help.
One of my favourites is Thierry Mugler Angel. I also tried Guerlain's petite robe noire today , which i also liked. I generally seem to like quite sweet perfumes . I don't like anything too musky or floral.
Any help is much appreciated.

in no order i adore the following:

Givenchy: Dahila Noir Eau de Toilette

Thierry Mugler: Alien

Chanel: Coco Mademoiselle

Philosophy: Pure Grace

Narciso Rodriguez for Her

Dita's perfume as well

also lady gaga came out with a perfume and i sorta like it too

If you like Angel, you will love this: http://www.basenotes.net/ID10212400.html

It was released in 1955 (before Angel) and apparently influenced Thierry Mulger greatly because his mother wore it. It's cheaper than Angel too. I love it.

My two favorites are Flower bomb and Mark Jacobs Blush (discontinued but easy to find on line still)

I love Jean Paul Gaultier's Classique. It smells like nothing else I've ever tried. To me it smells sweet with a punch of flavorful scents, and it seems to last. Also, the bottle is gorgeous; it's the shape of female form wearing old-fashioned lingerie. My friends like the scent very much, too.

I also really like my Hello Kitty perfume from Sephora! It smells fresh with a lighter sweetness. People always like the smell of it. I don't know if it has a specific name because I got it for Christmas (the box just said "Hello Kitty"), but the bottle is a translucent black, jewel cut style of Hello Kitty's head with an atomizer on top.

I like Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture, too. It just has an irresistible sweet smell that I can't get enough of once I put it on. It's not overpowering, but I find it delectable.

I just got Lady Gaga's perfume, but I haven't really tried it yet. I liked it when I tried it in the store, but I have to try it long-term. It's neat how it's black in the bottle, but sprays out clear. My mother said it reminded her of an old-fashioned perfume my grandma used to wear.

I have found that most perfumes don't last on me, and it kills me to pay the $ for them. Essential oils work best for me. You can mix your own custom scents and also add to an unscented body lotion to match.

Also remember to layer your scent to make them last. Body wash, lotion and perfume...

For girly but not overly floral, I really like Philosophy's Amazing Grace. If you like sweet, try their Falling in Love, it smells like cotton candy :)

Have you tried balvagri jasmin noir and their rose one? I love jasmin and rose so those are my perfumes for summer. You can usually pick these up for under 50 if you look hard enough (they usually retail a lot more)

If you like a hint of coconut try Burberry Britt it's very floral and sweet - this is my everyday perfume and you can get it for abt 30 bucks from Nordstrom rack ;) (this usually retails for abt 70 - 80)

If you like a lime sort of sent try Hermes (in the green bottle)

A less floral one would be Hermes des marvells
(Hermes is a little on the exe side)

Also I love Fragonard naturalles in rose, freesia and lavender (it's a Parisian perfumer that you an import from) if you like rose and freesia these smell Exactly like them (these will set you back a couple of euros per cent but so worth it)

Winter I love coco and mademoiselle and allure (Chanel) these babies are a tad on the expensive side

Wow I didn't realise what a perfume snob I was but I hope this helps ;)

Was just about to suggest Jasmin Noir

Thanks for all the help. I got Guerlain petite robe noir. I kept going back to it.
