Weight loss and a dislocated toe

So, I have lost 68 pounds since December 16th. It was not intentional, but I am glad for the result. I am currently 287 pounds (you can do the math if you want), and my soft goal is to get to 220. After being 300 plus, the idea of being low 200 is a little shocking. What I am dealing with right now is adjusting to the distribution of weight. Weird how I find myself hunched over if I'm not wearing heels. I can't wear heels right now because I am recovering after dislocating my next to baby toe, so my right foot is about a size 11WW to the 10.5W of my left foot. I'm wearing Tieks since they don't bother my foot, and adjust to the size of my foot's size/swollen condition.

In the meantime, I am also adjusting to a decreasing dress size. My proportions are curving out, but I have an upper belly that is still very solid and a lower apron that has nearly fully deflated. Don't get me started on my bat wings.

I'm glad to be losing weight, but I almost miss my larger size; at least I knew what to expect when trying on clothes, and when I looked in the mirror...

Well first off SweetBippie I wish you all the luck in your recovery, I hope it progresses well for you.

As for the loosing sizes I know exactly what you're going through. I'm currently a full two sizes below about a third of my PUG wardrobe, including most of the first things that I ever bought from the site. Just this afternoon I was telling a friend about my favourite style of ultra-push-up bra that I wear every time I put on a Heidi Dress to get back the cup size I used to have.

Weight loss is certainly a journey and we're all here for you whatever you may need :)!

Congrats on your progress so far, and like Tahitia Bell Fille, I wish you luck and speed of recovery! I've also been losing, so I know quite a bit how you feel in that sizing bit! It can be such a pain.
