I need hair help I am in the process of trying to grow my hair out for my wedding in march. The problem is I have always had very short hair that didn't take much time at all. Now that my hair is getting longer(about shoulder length) I always wear it in a ponytail. I have done the sleeping overnight in curlers, but that doesn't work for me because I am an avid runner and I can't put a hat on or pull my hair up when it is curly. I need some idea's that I can do that are fairly easy, and can be done after my morning run. I am so lost here. I don't know what to do. I am so tempted to cut my hair, but I promised my fiance that I would grow my hair out for the wedding. Please help I need ideas very bad.

what look are you trying to achieve?

I am not really sure I just want something cute. That look's like I care about what my hair looks like. wearing it in a bun or a ponytail all the time makes me feel frumpy, and I am fairly lost on what to do with it.

I cut my hair the first part of the year because it was getting just a weeee bit long (to my butt) and would take an hour to wash it. Chopped it to top of my shoulders and had a bunch of layers put in. When I go to blow dry my hair, I'll turn my head upside down so the hair is hanging free and crunch in some mousse for extra texture and volume.

Try not to sweat so much the up do or anything as you are growing your hair out... I've found it looks cutest when I have it down and a nice blow dry.

Until your hair gets a bit longer, other then maybe curling it or a side braid I would just embrace what you have and take extra biotin so it grows faster. Sorry if I've rambled on and hope it helps.

oh, clip in flowers are always nice. I'll do a half pony and clip in a cute silk flower.  http://www.bella-capelli-hairstyles.com/half-ponytail.html

Scarves headbands and barrettes are your friend right now. There are always a few awkward stages when growing your hair out.

I usually wrap my hair up in a bandana ala Mrs. Butterworth when I work out - helps absorb sweat, usually looks cute (there are days when nothing I do works) and if I curl it, it will keep the curls in (especially if I pin them first and then cover them with the bandana). Then, when I'm done, I have my curls and I can work with that.
