I've always wanted to have a blog on pinup style and 1950s culture. So in light of the holiday season, and my many new purchases from pinupgirlclothing.com, I have decided to start a blog reviewing my purchases for other PUG's thinking of buying from them.

It's 12:36 pm, I haven't eaten lunch yet..probably because my Evelyn dress JUST arrived at my doorstep and the first thing I did was strip down, even before I opened the package..maybe that was a little TMI.

So on to the review!

the dress came in a plastic cellophane type bag folded neatly inside. I ordered a size XS which fits me perfectly. The dress comes with a matching reversible bolero which I loved because it felt like I was getting a free gift (which honestly you are because the reversible black velvet side will match with other dresses.)

the dress has a zipper attached to the side just below  the armhole and ends a few inches below the waist. This was my only complaint with the dress, I HATE side zippers because when dealing with a fitted dress, I find it hard to get in and out of. These hips are a blessing and a curse.

The print on the dress is more vibrant and beautiful in person. It's a perfect spring dress with a timeless design.

One of my favorite things about this dress is that It looks amazing on every single body type. It is the perfect dress for someone a size XS and just as perfect if you are 2X.

Moving on to quality of the dress, the fabric is heavy enough to hold a shape yet light enough to avoid looking too stiff. This is definitely a quality dress with very much thought and detail put into it. One thing I will say it that you should invest in a steamer and make sure to hang this dress versus folding it. it WILL crease and if you order online, typically it will arrive already with creases. This does not take away from its beauty or charm and is a simple fix.

overall, I give this dress a 9.5 and highly recommend purchasing it if you haven't already. Did I mention its actually on sale right now?! All the more reason to by it. Im pretty sure they are no longer making this dress in Ribbon Rose print so if you fancy the print, hurry and get it before its all gone!
