Fashion - mainstream vs vintage
I love fashion. Let's just face it I am a self-proclaimed fashion whore. But one can ask themselves "how can I love mainstream fashion but still stay true to my vintage lifestyle?" Ladies it is easy. We will just mix and match pieces from your favorite era and the current trends. I can suffice it to say that if any lady had the opportunity to wear Christian Louboutin's trendy shoes they would jump on the opportunity. I mean nothing is like that red sole and the way these beauties make you feel. I think the "pinup" lifestyle is about being your authentic self. You do not have to dress just like Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn to enjoy this lifestyle.
If I came into a load of money I would buy every single piece of the Spring/Summer 2012 Prada line. Most of seasons items are based out of the 1950s. The shoes are covered in hot rod flames and come in a variety of colors. I know that most of the designers are focusing on the fall season but we need to savor this particular Prada season. Please enjoy.

Those hot rod shoes are just hilarious to me ;D Have you seen close up pictures of the jewery from that season? The roses with the rhinestones....SIGH!! To die for.
