Long time, no post! 

Gosh, I've been such a lurker these past few months - but I've never really felt that I've had something to contribute. Well, I've got news for you!

My fiance and I finally have our own apartment, and I've supplied myself with a nice little makeup battle station in our bathroom. 
I've taken the plunge and invested in a vamp dress! I bought it off eBay, and from what I can tell, it's an older version, but I absolutely LOVE it. 

This is also the second time I've ever had my hair cooperate with me, so yay! I like to wear it with the red belt from the Birdie Party dress. It adds a nice little pop! (Sorry for the lack of lippy, this was just after I'd finished my hair, so makeup was next!)

I've also been working on my brows - one of the many things that just dot the "I" on a perfect pinup face. I haven't perfected them yet, but I'm getting closer.

These glasses have also since broken, so I'm stuck with contacts (which I actually love, but can be a hassle!) 

I've also bought a new helmet for my bike (I'm a biker gal, ladies!). It's got a lovely pinup decal, and the inside is lined with lush blue velvet. It's the best helmet I've had in a while! 

In other news, I know that some of you were aware of my dilemma with my best friend's mother. We have decided to work around her mother's stifling ways, and have our own little sexy-fun photo shoot this weekend. She's confident that none of the pictures will be seen by her mother, and she wants to feel confident and glamorous. I plan on helping her with that! 

We made our first journey to Frederick's of Hollywood (alas, Florida does not have a What Katie Did so far as I know) and made some lovely selections!

Now, I've still got a lot to do to reach my goal of a Pinup/Rockabilly princess, but I feel I've made significant progress! My confidence is up, I'm smiling more, and I feel so gosh darn feminine all the time now.
