Hello everyone!
So last month, I hosted my very first Pinup Vintage Hairstyling party (for which I used the Vintage Hairstyling Book from PUG's website). I did all of my friends' hair, and they brought their own clothes, some of which were PUG dresses. THe ones you see worn were the LB Monica, the…

Hello everyone!
So this last month, I hosted my first ever Pinup Hair Styling party (I did all of the hairstyles from the Vintage Hairstyling Book from PUG's website (well, I attempted to do them with as much fervor as I could muster). Anyway, we had our own Pinup photo shoot, and some of PUG's dresses where used (notably, a black Monica, The Baton Rouge Jessica, The DD Halter Dress in…

Hello ladies!
Just wanted to share a quick post on the new Lorelei dress! I just bought myself the grey/black polka dot printed one for my Birthday this month, and had to gush about it's comfort (which is unparalleled), fit (perfect) and general awesomeness (curve-hugs it's best point!). I feel a bit 'Film Noir-ish" in it too.
If you are thinking about getting this dress, I say go for it!…

So, about a year and a half ago, my mother passed away at age 60. She was an incredibly beautiful woman, with a helluva lot of style - and when I had to clean out her closets (yes, there were multiple), I found some beautiful dresses by Bill Blass, Bob Mackie and even Halston. She dressed with both sex appeal and class, and was generally known in our family for having incredible style, but never flashy or too showy. There is a series of wallet pictures below of her in the 70's. Up until she…

Brandi Shuey said… I love bunnies! :) Do you have any pictures of your bunny babies?
Bonnie Lynn Bozell said… I do! :) Oh boy, you're in for a rabbit-geek out! lol! :)
TheenieBeana.JPG - This is Athena, my Florida rabbit! She's really sweet and very cuddly! I will have to give her back to the House Rabbit Society soon though :( because she is lonely, and I know she needs a mate to bond with, but I cannot afford 4 rabbits. So soon, I will have to give her back, but she will be happier with a mate!
Cinnamon.jpg - this is Cinnamon, she's a netherland dwarf mix - and all kinds of mischievous trouble! :) She's as fast as a bullet too, and when I have to take her to the vet, she ALWAYS knows it. She transforms into a Formula One race car, and does laps around her pen, never failing to make me feel like Andre the Giant as I take huge, klutzy steps around the pen trying to catch her. (She's adorable though, and I love her feisty-gingerness).
TuxakaJamesBond.jpg - This is Tux (short for Tuxedo, or, James Bond). He's Cinnamon's bonded mate, and he's a gentle boy. He only has one eye (his other eye became abscessed, and the adoption agency had to remove it right before I adopted him and Cinnamon). This picture was taken when we recently drove to Atlanta, and of the three rabbits I had in my car, Tux was the only one who wanted to sit so he could see me the whole way up there! He gets very nervous in cars, and he sat in that litter box in the back seat, where the AC doesn't pump as well (I gave him to frozen bottles of water to sit on so he could stay cool).
:) Sorry I tend to gush on about these guys a lot! Hope you like them!
-Bonnie
P.S. Do you have any pets?
Brandi Shuey said… Aww, sweetness :) I don't currently have any pets, and haven't for years now (mostly because of lack of funds), but my last two pets were Cloey aka "Cloe-poe" (a male) a gray short haired bunny with floppy ears. My boyfriend bought me cloey as a Valentines present from a local pet store. and Fuzzy aka "da Fuzz" (female) a gray angora bunny with cute little mini ears :) Fuzzy was from the same pt store Cloey was from, but she technically belong to my boyfriend at first and was then given to me after a while. Not sure of their exact heritage. Cloey passed away in June of 2004, and Fuzzy followed almost two years after him in May of 2006. Overall I had them for almost a decade. Cloey I had for 6 1/2 years since he was a baby, and Fuzzy for somewhere around 8 years.. may have been a bit older than that...she was an adult by the time we bought her, so who knows how old she really was? They both loved being outside, and wanted to snack on whatever it was i was snacking on... their favorites were apples, popcorn and saltine crackers. They always had a way of communicating what they wanted lol. Cloey (although a male) had his little diva routine when ever he wanted the fan on him while he was in his cage. He'd flop over by purposely throwing his body on the cage floor, one ear flopped over his face until get got his fan. lol He also had a huge crush on Fuzzy, I don't think it was completely mutual. Fuzzy pretty much was the strong independent one. She also loved to be bathed, unlike Cloey. Even in their habits you could see this Cloey, the messy smelly one, and Fuzzy the neat and clean one. Any time I'd wash Cloey he'd have me covered in dirty bunny water, and I'd need a shower myself afterwords. Fuzzy would thoroughly enjoy the experience and just lay like a lazy bunny while I dried her off. They were awesome and I still think about them now and then.
I should re-post this in the pet discussion with a picture lol
