The [unofficial] Amanda skirt?
So BIG dilemma! I had the Amanda dress ordered this week and posted a picture as you'll see on my profile. For a first impression I thought it was lovely. It wasn't until I actually had to wear it when I realized how bad the fit was on me. The waist was perfect but there was so much extra material upfront. Every time I lifted up my arms I would have the material way up my neck. I would pull it down only to have it ride up 2 minutes later. My shoulders were hanging out completely where my bra straps would show. It looked ridiculous! I was so upset. Shipping to send it back would be too much money and I didn't want to sell it because I really liked the material... So TA DA!! I made a pretty skirt out of it, hemmed it down, shortened and clamped the zipper etc... Fits like a glove and I plan on wearing it lots!! :D
