Stephanie,

How do you do your bangs? Do you use a big (1 1/2") curling iron? I have a cow lick and my bangs are a challenge for me. Also I use a hot tools curling iron but my curls will only last a couple of hours even after I pin curl them and let them cool afterwards. I have curly hair and thought it would hold the curl but it doesn't. Last question your color looks amazing-the bright red and the blue, I see you are a hair dresser any suggestions on what color I could do underneath as my hair is brown? Thanks for any tips. Lupe

Hi lupe, for the front to style the "bangs" i usually part the front in three sections and pin curl them. the section that focuses on the bangs is the middle  and either left or right section (depending what side you want your bangs). i always curl them at a 90 degree angle and roll them down. basically hold your curling iron upward, curl inward, roll it down, let the hair out the curling iron and pin it. after i comb it out and tease it a bit. to do the roll on your bangs its similar as the victory roll but your not gonna go all the way up. its pretty much playing with your hair. thats how i learned lol.

i do use a 1'1/2' curling iron that is a hot tool :) i would straighten that cow lick with a straightener first and then curl it so you can tame it and should be fine to style it afterwards.

as for your hair color (brown) to add a good color contrast any blondes reds or coppers would look nice.

for bright colors like blue green purple pink and such , id recommend to have a black base color. thats my opinion though.

i hope this information helps. feel free to ask as much as you would like. ill do my best to help you out.

thank you lupe.
