Hey gals,so in a couple of weeks there's a game and comic convention in my nearest city. My partner is a massive nerd (as am I, secretly-ish) and is involved in running it, as well as representing…Continue
I think the above look is cute for the summer and it can also be achieved for a formal occasion ....of course with the braids gone.
this one is also one of my fav.

Ladies ...I found a great tutorial on Miss Amethysts blog on the sculpture pin curler!!! Take a look. She really has a amazing blog :)
Ladies, I need some help with getting ideas for quick easy pin up hair styles that might not neccessarly mean using a curling iron constantly, any one got any ideas??
@Melanie Her hair book is actually worth it, it breaks it down for you and teaches you technique and styles that you can manage on your own, the make up one isn't really worth it, you would learn much more from Micheline's class :) and much better technique. hope that helps
I've been wondering the same thing about the Lauren Rennells books. Thanks for the information!
I've got both and agree the makeup book is a waste of money. The bair book ix nice to have but I learnt more from Youtube than I did from the book.
RE: Lauren Rennells Vintage Hair & Make-Up - I love the hair book. The techniques are good and there are some styles you won't get in the usual vintage how-tos you'll find online. Her blog is great too! I haven't picked up the make-up book because I am so in love with my Kevyn Aucoin books.
